Since I already have one of these cameras I decided to buy another one the first one is approximately 8 months old. The new camera came and I was excited however I could not set up the parameters for the camera. At parameters and PC client parameters were okay. Contacted support and they had made a few recommendations but they did not work. I returned the camera to Amazon for replacement and the replacement did the same thing did not work correctly for setting up camera parameters therefore I am sending that camera back and going to order a different brand unfortunately I really wanted to stay with Reolink. I only gave it two stars because it did have excellent video and the pan and tilt worked but that's allUPDATE!! After excellent communications with Reo Link I gave this camera a third try. Well this time the third camera worked excellent with no issues with setup whatsoever. I had told Reo Link that I believed in the product especially since I already own one and I know they are capable of good performance. So at this time I would like to change my 2 star back to 5 star and would especially would like to thank Sandy for the good and patient communications to make this happen. My advice is if you ever experience any problems and could work with someone like Sandy let her help you work it out. Reo Link IS a good product and will stand behind you all the way

The media could not be loaded. Great 4g Cam in the remote mountains of Canada/Idaho. TMobile Sim setup a breeze. Even just got to see the night sky aurora borealis. Cool. Set up auto pay with TMobile $10bucks/mo. Chk out YT groups all neat setups.

We wanted a PTZ camera at our gate, but this camera is too slow for our application. We did not receive alerts, and the camera was always frozen. If you are in an area with great cell phone coverage, you may be able to make it work. We live in the country, and it did not work for us.

After leaving a bad review for this ca,era a while back, I’ve changed my mind. Reolink has GREAT warranty and customer service.

Using this for a remote construction site (security). Other reviews were helpful in that I went to T-Mobil, checked their coverage map, got a nano sim card and when the camera showed up, inserted card and followed directions - works great! Utility app is intuitive, best using a larger phone or tablet.

Shading (diy expertise) above the camera only (not solar panel) to protect from direct sun heat exposure highly recommended. This failure results in slow performance and disturbed imaging. Overall, a series of camerascombinations such as fixed, panning/tilt, wifi or cell/sim card type can largely provide acceptible home security surveillance. Mobile app needs much improvement to satisfy customer ease of functions. Too many options are not clearly explained as to why or needed. Options titles assume user knows what the function does or performs. Some repetitive steps can be refined and or eliminated.

I like having the ability to remotely monitor our property. This camera system exceeded my expectations in image quality. Pan and tilt is a great feature and enables me to look at a large area of our property. Looking forward to watching dust and thunderstorms rolling across the Arizona desert this monsoon season.
