Better than other cheap instant ramen brands
The noodles are great quality. The taste is alright. The sauce tasted alright. The noodles are thick and unique to other ramens I’ve tasted before. But i wouldn’t necessarily buy it again.

I hate how much I love these
These are on the expensive side of instant noodles. I didn't want to like them, I really didn't. I don't like spending that much on instant noodles. I don't like needing to buy my instant noodles online. But for these? I'll make an exception. The noodle texture is good. They're wider than ramen and, in my opinion, are better than most instant ramen noodles. The sauce is a nice balance of sweet, savory, and salty, which I love; a lot of instant noodles mixes are too salty or have no nuance, but these have a pretty balanced flavor profile for how simple and quick they are to make. Add some sauteed chicken or tofu and veggies, and you have yourself a pretty good meal that only takes a few minutes to make. I like adding onions, bean sprouts, and broccoli most.So... Despite my reservations about buying these--I was literally eyeing them for months before biting the bullet--thry are worth the price. They are worth the waiting for delivery. And I will be buying them again.

Not actually ramen noodles. Just Meh...
I had been hearing about the Momofuku noodles for a while and i've been wanting to try them. I would consider myself a Ramen fan and like to try the various styles and brands available. I think that gives me enough credence to write a critical review. I bought a 5 pack of the Sweet & Spicy and a 5 pack of the Tingly Chili and i just thought they were okay.I guess i should point out that this isn't "Ramen." It's more of a asian style noodle and sauce. The quality of the noodle is fine, but not exceptional and there is a small packet of liquid seasoning. The flat noodles are not fried like a regular Ramen noodle are, so this helps with the texture, but honestly i wasn't blown away by the texture anyway. The flavor of the sauce packet was a let down as well. its an okay flavor but the spicyness isnt very balanced and it just ends up being one note at the end. Ive tried these a few times now and even though the serving size is smaller for instant noodles, i haven't finished my bowl of noodles any of the times i fixed it. For reference, my favorite instant ramen is Nissin's RAOH Tonkatsu, and those go for about $2.30 a package and the noodles are far superrior to these, Plus its actually ramen, not just asian noodles and sauce.Bottom line:Decent quality but just ok in the flavor and texture department. I probably wont be buying any more.

Wow David Chang. Wow
What a amazing noodles. David Chang knows how to make noodles. These noodles are fantastic with loads of flavor great texture. I personally think the thickness is right on and the ingredients are superior.I was like to give the cons too but I really can't give any. I guess if I had too I would say give more sauce because it is so good.

One of my favorite things to eat EVER
EDITED TO ADD: You guys know this is a dry ramen, right? I'm seeing people say it has weak flavor & the pictures show it in soup, like people didn't drain the ramen. A dry ramen doesn't sit in broth, like your typical ramen does. It has a small packet of sauce that you toss with the drained noodles and that's it. No added water, hence, the term dry ramen. It's very tasty when made as directed. If you add water or don't drain your noodles & just dump the sauce packet in the water, of course it will taste bad. It's supposed to look like the picture on the front of the package -- just the DRAINED noodles with the sauce packet. This is a different kind of ramen than say, Maruchan & the like.REVIEWThese are seriously so good. The taste is almost like chow mein. I add extra green onions (it comes with a pack of dried green onions) and cut shrimp so it's thinner & smaller, so I can have the taste of shrimp with every bite of noodles. I also add some sesame seeds, sesame oil, and some butter. You wouldn't think so, but the butter takes it over the top, making these noodles super silky. There's no heat to this at all, so when I'm cooking my shrimp, I add some chili oil to that & it's perfect. You could add veggies & stuff, but it would be dry since the sauce packet is really small. I mix the sauce with the noodles & get them all coated evenly before I add in my shrimp. And I cook this all in one pot. I'll use a saucepan & cook the shrimp together with the packet of dried onions, the chili oil, a little sesame oil, and my fresh green onions. I move that to my serving plate, then add 4 cups of hot water to the saucepan to cook the noodles. When done, I sauce up my noodles with the sauce packet, then add the shrimp mixture. If you're having this as a main dish, each little pack will serve one. Let's be realistic 😂 I'm a tiny little bird lady & it's so good I can eat 9/10s of it by myself. If having as a side dish, it'll serve 2.And don't be misled by "ramen" because it's not soupy like the cheap ramen you can buy. It literally looks like the pic on the front of the package.Anyway, this is so good. You can't go wrong with it, even if you don't get fancy & add things. SO GOOD. I have it on auto-ship & I'm here to order more because I can't wait until my next subscription shipment 😂
