Wish I would’ve bought this months ago!
I’d been looking at steamers. I have the travel Rowenta, but needed a larger more easier to maneuver one for when I do a lot of work shirts at home.So many had such mixed reviews including this one, however I’m very happy with the results & it gets much hotter than an old steamer I had 10/12 years ago.I also like the head shape to this one, I had only used the more traditional reta ghost steamers so was hesitant to switch, but am glad I got this one.I also used the rotating hanger more than I thought I would. All in all I really like it & did more than 10 shirts & only got about 2/3rds of the way through it.Photos of shirt before & after, it’s a more challenging shirt to iron due to the sleeves, but was very happy with the results with minimal effort.

Awesome steamer
I used a my little steamer for years and it was great. It got the job done (usually) but after starting my Poshmark closet and using it almost daily, it quit on me. I did have it for probably 7+ years I must say. The Rowenta is on a whole other level. This baby is quick and HOT! Watch your fingers, obviously. I use a clip to get all the way to the edges of clothing as to not burn myself. As with all appliances you just have to be careful. I was concerned after reading the comments of people saying they were burned, but decided to give it a try. It's not scary, just like using a knife, keep it away from your fingers and you'll be fine. This product is a game changer for me.

Mad Decent...
This steamer is mad decent. It's just ok. The steamer condenses a ton, leading to many wet spots on a garment, but that's ok, it happens. All in all it's a good buy, does the job and gets me wrinkle free - much better than an iron for me.

Very good device, very good results with less efforts.
Okay, sometimes we have to iron. But it is always too complicated, especially for single men. You iron a sleeve, then another... And - what?! Another sleeve's just got wrinkled!:) I switched to a cleaners' service but it turns out quite expensive and brings extra hassle. This device is really good, but it could be nicer and here is my Q&AQ: Why did you choose this model?A: I like the iron tip and rotating hanger. Yet, the make is reliable and I trust it.Q: Is it hard to start using it?A: No, as far as you capable to fill up the tank and plug it in:)Q: Does it handle wrinkles well?A: Yes, pretty well. Some fabrics require more time, but 90% - like a charm. Actually, I prefer this, because iron may leave "glossy" trails on clothes.Q: How much time do you spend for a shirt? T-shirt? Jeans?A: I would say 5 minutes, 2 minutes, 4 minutes. Seriously, very quickly.Q: Does it leave wet spots on garments?A: Yes, it may. But not a big deal. Actually, it has 3 nozzles that help you with trousers, delicate clothes and help avoid wet spots.Q: Is steam flow sustainable?A: Yes, sustainable and hot! if you notice it start "snorting" and steam is not sustainable, just lift the handle all way up so condensate would drain from the pipe back to the 'pot'Q: How many garments I can steam with one fill?A: I did not measure it, but would say more than 15Q: Does it have "auto-off" feature?A: As far as I know - no. And I don't want to leave it ON to test it:)Q: Why 4 stars?A: It's stupid, but Rowenta offers 3 models: least expensive 1-pole hanger with plastic tip (which I don't like), 1-pole rotating hanger (with iron tip) and Press Hanger (with plastic tip, too). Who has decided that the iron tip must go without the press?! This feature is very useful, but I don't want to have plastic instead of iron! This is totally ridiculous, but this is it. Ideal steamer would have a press and a metal tip. Period. Would be great too if they put a couple of gloves to the package for ironing.Q: Anything else?A: Yes. Use fabric gloves to avoid burns! It eases life a looooot! I use only one, though.Q: Would you recommend it to somebody else?A: Yes, absolutely. Especially for single men :) Buy it with confidence.

Completely Delighted !
I wear a lot of sports coats and jackets and was using a Rowenta steam iron to steam out wrinkles , SO opted to get the Steamer and am really happy with it ! First of all ironing always gave me a kind of bad back. BUT to just hang the various items on a hanger and steam away ? PIECE OF CAKE ! And done Lickety Split !ONE MAJOR WORD OF CAUTION ! If you are a little clumsy ( as I am ) you will DEFINITELY want to invest in a pair of heavy Rubbermaid gloves. The steam is SCALDING hot! And so easy to burn your hands.I found that some items I still want to IRON to get that crease look. BUT was mildly surprised to find how well various styles of casual shirts like Polo Shirts and sweatshirts etc do when steamed instead of ironed. So my easier AND faster !I am a little taller and the HEIGHT of the area to hang my clothes hanger on to steam the object was a little too low for my taste. So what i did was bought a coat rack and that doubles as a kind of informal valet AND steaming area as well. Win win situation all the way around. I am so happy with my purchase and it already has seen quite a bit of use ! If you have a friend who wears suits and jackets it makes a tremendous gift !

Best Home Steamer
We did our homework on this one. This is one makes the "best-of" lists and is the best one we've ever owned. My wife is a seamstress and does sewing projects frequently. This Rowenta IS6520 steamer is perfect for her steaming needs - heavy fabrics to delicate tooling, it does it all! We also use it for sanitizing sheets to removing wrinkles. The accessories have been useful and the built in hanger with clips is brilliant. No more holding on to fabric or clothes with one hand and trying to steam with the other! The extra large water tank provides about an hour of steaming use and is very easy to refill.
