Seems to be made well enough
This is a good solution if you need such a thing. I wouldn’t have any problems buying it again.

Would like to find this with 3/8 square drive.

Not for accuracy, but 5 stars for utility. Filled a need perfectly
If you're looking for laser beam accuracy, you're not very smart. Go buy a laser. I needed this to drill a hole beyond an obstruction with a drill too big to fit in the hole. I had an old apex 12" 1/2 square 3/8 drill hex extension with a flat shoulder at the socket end. It held true enough to have gotten my job done. On a whim i looked, & am happy this was available, i was going to have to spend alot more time than this was worth to custom make this simple adapter.

Far better than other options.
Far better option than conversion chuck. The 1/2 inch thread will handle far more torque than a 1/4 inch hex shaft. Being an impact material adds even more confidence. It also uses a standard that will work with everything from a $12 economy chuck to a $150 high end chuck. I was able to use the chuck off a broken dewalt drill without any issues.Only small negative is the small phillips holding screw cams before getting as tight as it should. Can be finished by using chuck and driving down a standard bolt but one more step to install than if a torx head was used.Highly recommend .

This is a very cool tool
This should come in handy for drilling in tight spaces, but it sure had me going for a minute. Look closely at the screw that secures this in your drill chuck -- It has left-hand threads. That's actually well thought-out, to keep the screw from backing out as you drill, but you sure don't see left-hand threads very often. For people like me they should put a little sticker on there that says "Look dummy! Left-hand threads!" It took me a while.

Only good for light duty jobs
Used with a Impact Wrench to remove bolts from Gate. Item shattered. I guess not good for that.

I worked perfect for what I needed it for
I worked perfect for what I needed it for. I was able to turn my impact gun into an impact gun with a chuck.
