where can you get replacement pads?

I am not sure but, in videos I have watched it was mentioned that a homemade one used furniture pads. You could try that.

Do you use firm pressure or a lighter touch while gliding over stamps area?

Still use firm pressure, but this tool is much easier on my hands

Which is better the smaller one or the larger one?

I believe I bought the larger one. It works great with my stamping platform.
