Codes are on label in glove box , sometimes part listed doesn’t always show right codes , so I like to use original GM part and it should work well

I don't know on Vin what year is truck and if your gonna change that I would replace the bearing that it goes into up in steering column since you'll already be under the dash

What do you drive? For my 06 2500hd Duramax I used part# 88963617 BEARING 6.521 with steering shaft part#19329330. So far so good. Rattle is gone. Be sure to grease the rubber boot that houses the shaft or it will squeak/fart lol when you turn the wheel
