Keeney1431SSBX Sink Strainer with Fixed Post Basket, Stainless Steel

My old drains were stained and nasty, and the baskets would not sit in them without plugging the drain. These were a perfect replacement. The only minor quibble I have is that the main ring nut to secure it to the sink is much smaller (thinner) than the ones on the old drains. Wouldn't have been an issue if I had the normal drain tool for those ring nuts, but I had to use large pipe wrenches instead. So I just re-used the old ones that were much larger and easier to fit with that type of wrench.

Hi I think this drainer was easy to install. I'm a female with no experience in plumbing. I wish I would have read the reviews first ,because as stated in Woo's review it said to measure your pipe., which I did not. I had to cut an 1/2 inch off my pipe or else the drainer would've been sitting up & not flat. The leak is gone thank goodness.

it works perfectly. you should be aware of the height of this unit, compare it to your old unit before you buy it if you don't want to change your pipe/plastic tube.

I bought this sink strainer kit and set it up myself and it really looks like the work of a pro. I'm very pleased and happy with the result. The hardest part was removing the old one but once I got it removed everything else was easy. I'd recommend this to others.
