It takes just a little bit to add shine and hold to your hair. I love it.

The company for some reason stopped the production of a purple Pomade. Which was very good. This is one not nearly as good, sticky, has a strong smell and a weird unnecessary shine.If you are looking to replace their purple Pomade, don't buy this one.

I've been using this pomade for over 10 years on my short, sassy haircut. I used to buy it at retail stores, but it's been very difficult to find for the last 2-3 years, so now I purchase it on Amazon. The orange pomade makes your hair shiny while providing lift that lasts all day. Love it.IMPORTANT: this is the ORANGE container, Got2b DEFIANT, which is their SHINE pomade. The product itself is orange and more of a gel like consistency. It is not the same product as the purple container.If you want their TEXTURIZING CREME pomade, which is a white, creamy product, that is the PURPLE container, and it is called Got2b PLAYFUL. They are completely different products so you will get completely different results from each.

Holds hair well and allows you to style it. I would like for there to be more product or a bigger container because I have to buy it often since it runs out so fast. The smell is nice and if you use the correct amount your hair is not oily feeling. Hair is still soft to touch unlike gel which stiffens.

This product works like I want it too.It has nice hold,but doesn't get too stiff.It does make you hair feel a little gunky the day after applying ,but that not a problem if you're going to wash and restyle eventually.This product is good for rainy days, windy days or if you're playing sports and wanna look good while doing it or to make a sleek style like a bun or ponytail and want to pomade the loose hairs in place. i'm glad I found it.
