The only down side is the blade is very thin if you compare to the old sealed beam headlight blades. You may have to make adjustments to the OEM light socket to get the thin blade to work. They are put together well, the wire size is adequate for the use, the socket is ok. With the above concerns known, I recommend these adapters. Wife purchased some LED replacements for my 88 scirocco . The brights were plug & play, but the dims were reversed and didn't function. Swapping the ground for dim and leaving the hi beams the same gave me lows and (dual) brights as it should be. The connectors were a wee bit flimsy, but didn't snap I straightened them and it was all good. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

They work. When checking to see if the wires are in the correct spot on the factory plug do not slide the male connector in completely. They lock in on a S-10 and when I went to move one, the wire came loose from the male terminal(bad crimp), A little solder and some new heat shrink tube, all is good. On a 1995 S-10 the black wire goes in the angled location ,red wire in the middle. Yellow wire in the last location of the factory connector.
