I think that this crochet kit did what needed to be done, and matched the price vs quality! I bought this to teach myself how to crochet with simple single stitches. And it got the job done! I ended up making blankets (with different yarn) once I was able to venture into bigger and better things. I still have some of the yarn to this day that I use for little misc projects, along with the crochet hooks! The yarn you receive will be very thin and small which I was shocked by at first, but it is great for learning.

Skeins are smaller than depicted on product description. Not enough of any one color to complete even a small project.But crochet needles and aids are a good value.Would be excellent for a older child or very beginner .

Overall it’s a great color variety and a good kit for starting out however, the size of the yarn skein is not at all what was shown. They are shown as 12 inches but are actually only 5 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide.

I mean as a start, it works alright but the yarn is loose and the strands tend to separate as I’m trying to crochet which is no help at all

I mainly bought this set for the yarn. I have been making a lot of amigrumis lately and I thought this would be a good way to get a bunch of different colors in the same weight. Unfortunately, it was a tangled mess. It was so bad that I had to throw it out. The other accessories and hooks are fine
