OHLPRO Tablet Holder for Car, Dashboard Windshield Mount for 7-11" Tablets

Great price. Just as advertised...

As a CDL A truck driver, I've been looking for a good mount for my tablet since I use it for work for literally hours of the day. Unfortunately the previous mounts I bought either broke, lost their strength, or were just plain flimsy. This mount however, I'm glad to say, is the opposite! The suction cup is super strong and it can be placed on virtually any surface as long as it's not fabric. I tried it on my windshield, dashboard, even the roof of the cab! All held wonderfully. Being in my truck for 10+ hours a day my concern was the tablet might fall out if the arms of the mount aren't strong enough but no worries there! I can rest easy knowing my 10 inch tablet is safe and secure no matter what road bump or pot hole comes my way. In conclusion this mount is strong, durable, easy to use, and worth the money and one that I'll continue using for years to come!

I tried many different types. This one is very sturdy fits well my iPad iPhone or a Garmin GPS and really whatever I wanna put into it very strong and does not shakevery good.

Ok where do I start....The vent holder would be ok if you can let it lean against your dash, but not sure if your vents will suport the weight of the tablet bouncing will driving down the road (might break you vent). The glass mount looks like it would work just great or even the if stuck ontop of your dash using the adapter plate that comes with it. I was using a 10" tablet so mount on windshield or dash was out of my picture. So I return for a full refund. But this seem to be a well made holder and for the price you cant bet it.

I drive a school bus so it tends to get very bumpy and has never lost its grip! I have taken it off so many times and it’s still so strong.

Though sturdy enough, it could not firmly hold up my relatively heavy Hotwav R8 tablet in the vent attachment mode which also did not attach firmly. Did not use the stick on option as there wasn't a space on dash that didn't obstruct my view somewhat. Should work with a lightweight tablet.

Ordered the 7-11” sizing for my 10.9” iPad 10th gen. The holder I received maxed out at around 8.5” no where near 11”. This company must not understand US measurements or something. Trash.. when you are selling an item and claim it’s within an exact size range, and it’s actually 3 inches off, it’s just bad business. Would not suggest ordering one for your iPad unless you are willing to take the gamble on the sizing you purchase. Cannot attest for functionality because I couldn’t use it for my road trip, but it is cheap plastic. The clamps that are meant to support the iPad seem like they are poorly built. Functionality would be a challenge with every bump in the road. Adjustability is also inadequate. One last thing, it came with absolutely zero directions and a mysterious piece that we couldn’t figure out the purpose of! Not stable.

Lo compré porque el que yo quería (RAM) no me llegaba a tiempo para el viaje y por algunos comentarios que decían que sorprendentemente resistía bastante y no se movía, lo cual era lo que yo buscaba ya que lo iba a utilizar para una ruta en 4x4 muy intensa por el sur de África y necesitaba un soporte muy firme que no se moviera ni deteriorara con el traqueteo de la ruta. El resultado fué sorprendente ya que aguantó perfecto sin moverse en toda la ruta. Lo ajusté para que quedara apoyado en el salpicadero por abajo y perfecto. Incluso cuando lo tuve que despegar del cristal costó bastante, así que la ventosa pega súper bien con el líquido que trae. El material tiene aspecto de plástico de mala calidad, y seguramente lo sea, pero oye, aguantó sorprendentemente 15 días de ruta 4x4 muy intensa en baches, golpes, calor, etc.. algunos días fuimos muy de rally y se movía muy poco. Por lo que supongo que para un uso normal irá sobrado.

This is my second Tablet holder for my Galaxy Tab S3 (9.7” glass slate), a relatively big and heavy tablet, which I use as a proper SatNav in the car (GPS and OsmAnd+ app). I bought this to replace my original holder whose horizontal adjuster broke. My Galaxy is protected by a silicone-rubber protective ‘case’;this triples its thicknesss from 6mm to 18mm (¾”) around the edge, too much for most tablet holders. The only place for the sucker of a phone/tablet holder that won’t obstruct the driver’s view is on the top of the dash, with the tablet hanging down in front of the radio (see photos). The Ohlpro has a big, sticky, suction pad (similar to, and the best feature of, my original holder), and all the features I was looking for: adjustable claws that hold a big heavy tablet really securely; when stuck to the top of the dash, allows the tablet to be tilted up and sideways to face the driver; and a versatile design that can be used equally well in many other vehicles. I had to peel off the large soft foam strip from the bottom clamp to accommodate the thickness of the silicon protector. To stop the tablet jiggling, and thus also reduce the stress on the horizontal adjuster, I’ve angled the tablet so that the bottom right-hand corner of the silicone protector rests against the dash. Strong fingers are needed to click the ball-mount into place on the back of the clamp; but it only needs to be done once. Two minor gripes: 1) There is a hole in the ball-mount bracket for a locking screw (see photos), but no screw is provided and I couldn’t find one of the right head, size and length in my hoard of recycled self-tappers. 2) The long vertical foam pad on the bottom clamp is thicker than that on the top, reducing the thickness of the device that can be held. I’ve peeled it off and saved it just in case. Other than that, EXCELLENT!
