I noticed there a couple of negitive reviews before buying this socket. I took the chance and it worked flawlessly, zero issues. I even used it on a heavy duty impact gun and it spun the large nut off without any problems what so ever. I checked the inside of the socket and it just wore off a little of the black anodizing and that's it. I would highly recommend this product, great value and good quality.

The socket is of high quality. Due to the shallow design of the axle nut, it is difficult to use any socket like this with a breaker bar to remove a highly torqued axle nut. With the nut being so shallow, it is easy to get the socket (any socket really) cocked resulting in damage to the socket. My second attempt with an impact wrench was successful. It is good that this socket is aluminum since I would rather damage it than the axle nut.

The material is a little soft for breaking stubborn axle nuts loose. But this seems to be more for someone who is taking their wheels off more often than I might. In that instance, I think this would work great. It is made of aluminum (I believe), so not as tough as your usual socket. Also, you'll need at least a 1" extension to use both sides effectively. Well made and nice to look at.

Quality tool, nice feel, worked perfectly for my 950SP. Even after using impact gun to remove nut, no damage to nut or tool. Just use a bit of tape. Recommend.

These are advertised for Ducatis, Ducatis require 230nm on the rear wheel nut, on the first torque the inside where the 1/2 drive mates has flared out.The ability to have 2 sizes on one nut is nice but these are made of weak metal not able to handle the torques required for the vehicle advertised.

Get a mid strength impact wrench and voila! Little ratchet isn't going to get it done. Socket stands up to the 150 ft lbs of torque.

Purchased this to remove the read wheel on a Hypermotard 950 and it worked like a charm for that purpose. Nut fits both sides of the axle.

Works good, got this for my Ducati.
