Received this Shash Paddle brush large size....thought i was ordering a boarshair brush,but i looked at so many i guess i mistakenly selected the wrong one....Was initially annoyed,but decided to try it....My hair is very thick which is why i was searching for the right one....Well,purchased in error or not,this is a great brush! It flows thru my natural hair with ease,massaging my scalp...I hope it lasts a good long time,considering what i spent...4/13/2025

This Wooden Paddle Brush is exactly what it states it is, "Gently detangles, styles, conditions hair with minimal frizz and breakage - safe for all hair types, wet or dry - eco-sourced wood." I have let other people use the brush and when I have given the brush as a gift, everyone has told me that it is now their favorite brush. This includes a friend of mine that has been working professionally with hair for many years loves the brush. Itis worth the extra money that it costs over other similar products that I have purchased in the past.

My daughter is completely attached to this brush. She has very long hair, and this brush detangles it without breaking the ends. It's nice that it is wooden, too.

I had this wooden brush 'saved for later' for about a week before buying it because I was hesitant to spend the $50(?) for a brush. I'm so glad I bought it because it is seriously the best brush ever. Dry hair, wet hair, it's been a month and it's still immaculate. I love that this brush doesn't have the weird plastic nubs at the end - it doesn't rip through your hair and it's just a pleasant experience every time I brush my hair.For people complaining about the single hole in the brush head - that's supposed to be there.

I was pretty skeptical about the price tag initially, but I had always heard wooden brushes were much better for hair so I gave it a shot and I can say it was well worth the investment. My hair was instantly shiny and softer. The bristles are made of wood as well as the handle And it appears to be very well-made. I’ve been using it for about two weeks now and my hair is noticeably in better condition. Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My Favorite Paddle Brush. I purchased 2 other wooden paddle brushes, and this one...although a bit more expensive than the others: is by far my favorite. I always reach for this one. I've had it for almost a year now and it looks brand new.

My hair is mad at me, for reasons I don't understand. So, I thought, perhaps a new brush will appease the raging beast that is attached to my head. I'll even go natural! Did it work? Eh...Pros: It's easy to hold. It brushes my hair well. The bristles are sturdy and haven't broken. I espeically love that the bristles are all one solid piece, so they're less likely to rip my hair. Overall, my hair seems healthy and the brush isn't causing damage.Cons: It does look dirtier than my trusty Tangle Teezer, but that could be the fact that it's a darker color. I can't tell that it helps static. And I can't say that the wood is somehow better than plastic for a brush, especially when it comes to cleaning.I woodn't say it's better than a Tangle Teezer. But it's a nice change, the handle is...well, handy. And I do think the solid bristle is much better than those with a little blob of plastic on the end. I'm not sure I'd by another, but I woodn't say no if someone got me one.

I have thick wavy hair and this brush is fabulous. It just glides through my hair, leaving it nice and smooth without phrase good quality.
