Barbie Mermaid Doll with Transforming Outfit and Dolphin Squirt Toy

Bought two of these dolls for my granddaughters, ages 3 and 5 years old. They are into mermaids, so the dolls made a hit! Just the right size for little hands. Dolphin is cute. They recognized the doll and dolphin from the Barbie Mermaid movie. Well made. Outfit easy to switch from mermaid tail to dress and back. Three year old needed a little assistance. Fun fun fun!

My daughter had been asking for this one for a long time and it's worth getting if your child is interested in the barbie dolphin magic movie. Of course kids it is kind of obvious that it is just a dress that is covering up the legs as my daughter was quick to point out. Could have been made a bit more neat so the legs dont show in the mermaid style but my daughter has no issues about it and still enjoys playing with it especially during bath times when she changes color.

Bought this for my granddaughter who is totally into mermaids. She takes her to the pool, plays with her in the bathtub, and, when her clothes aren't wet, plays with her in the house. Her tail and bikini top changes colors just as advertised. Once she's wet, it does take a while for her dress/tail to dry.

My 4yo likes this doll but doesn’t play with it because she can’t get the outfit back on the Barbie if she takes it all the way off. There are special strings inside the skirt to help it turn from a mermaid tail to a dress. The transformation can’t happen if the strings are not on the proper sides of the legs which is no small accomplishment. If everything is in place she can do the transformation part. It took some practice and some frustration but she was proud. But since she is constantly taking the whole thing off it never seems to be on the Barbie correctly.FYI. This Barbie has flat feet so most shoe sets are for high heels and won’t fit on the flat foot. Some sets have a couple flat pairs.6mo later: the mermaid tail/dress continues to frustrate my daughter and myself.

Great! My 5yo’s favorite bday present. I was going to get an Ariel doll but went with this after reading terrible Ariel reviews. Glad I did. Don’t get me wrong, my kid knows it’s not Ariel! Please. This doll just fits the bill for glamorous bath mermaid. And she can handle transforming the dress/tale after being shown how.

Doll is cute...dolphin is cute. But my 7 year old granddaughter was highly disappointed that this “magical” mermaid was just changing the dress to be fins. She had seen this and really wanted it for her birthday. Her words” They call that magic?” Still plays with her. But disappointed to a seven year old that thought that water would transform her .

Got this as a gift for my niece and she loved it. Not much else to say, the package arrived quickly and was undamaged so i'm happy.

This is exactly what my daughter wants. It will be her cake topper on her mermaid theme party. She’s excited to open it and play with it on her birthday.

Great quality doll! Well-made, and my kids love how the dress goes from mermaid tail to the summer dress. I have actually bought 2 of these!

Isla l'amie sirene de Barbie. Très jolie mais dommage que la queue soit en tissu et difficile à manier par les petites filles (4 - 5 ans). Elle se transforme en jolie robe. Dommage également que le dauphin ne soit pas vert comme celui du dessin animé dans lequel elle apparait.

Chi avendo una figlia non ha mai sentito parlare di sirene ? Questa è una barbie che nella collezione delle nostre bimbe non puó mancare molto bella e elegante con la sua coda che diventa vestito all occorrenza e che magicamente cambia colore quando la immergi nell’acqua ottimo il tessuto della coda e resistente ai ripetuti cambi tra coda e vestito. Il prezzo nettamente più basso rispetto ai negozi della mia cottà

Muy bonita. Con muchos detalles. La cola de sirena que se transforma en vestido le encanta? Tambien cambia de color con el agua caliente y al enfriarse. El pelo de la muñeca es muy bonito y facil de peinar.

Endlich wiedermal eine vernünftige Film-Barbie!!!Die letzten gefühlten 50 Film-Barbies waren leider nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen, da sie immer Outfits, oder irgendwelche eckigen Gerätschaften fest am Körper montiert hatten. Somit kaufte man für ca. 30-50 € eine Barbiepuppe, die man lediglich mal zum Nachspielen des Films nutzen konnte…die Spielfreude war dementsprechend kurz…wenn ich mich an meine eigenen Zeit erinnere, haben wir mit unseren Filmbarbies „Nussknacker“, „Dorfmädchen“ „Rapunzel“ ect. immer gespielt, weil man sie ja aus- und anziehen konnte wie man lustig war.Das ist seit langem wieder endlich eine Puppe, die man (fast) vollständig ausziehen kann. (Das Oberteil ist fest, aber das stört nicht sehr, man kann ungeniert andere Oberteile drüber ziehen).Die selbe Idee gibt es bereits! Die Barbie Puppe aus dem Filme „Das Geheimnis von Oceana 1“ ist haargenau dieselbe bloß in Blond. Kette, Oberteil (allerdings ausziehbar) und eine Stoffflosse, die man überstülpen kann und somit zu einem Kleid mit Kapuze wird…von daher gäbe es eigentlich einen Punkt Abzug, da sie lediglich eine alte Barbie kopiert haben, aber ich bin so froh, dass sie endlich wieder eine vernünftige Barbiepuppe „erfunden“ habe, dass wir gern darüber hinwegsehen.Barbiepuppen mit fest „installierten“ Outfits und Gerätschaften sind einfach längerfristig unbrauchbar!Mit der Barbie-Taucherin hat man somit im Set alles was man braucht.Danke Mattel – endlich mal was gut gelungen!!
