SMALL SET - Nice cheap set of files, works well for filing 3d prints. Smaller than I was expecting, but useful nonetheless

You never know with these types of sets but this is the real deal. I had to file down the thin edge of a piece of hardened steel and these diamond files worked like a charm. Great value for the money. They are small-ish at about 4" overall with a cutting surface of about 1.75" to 2". I would say they're very good for small jobs. Recommended.

These files are sharp and tiny enough to do small carvings on found stones.. It is best to wear protective gloves when using them as they are sharp and can cut your hand. The handles are small and encased in a textured sleeve but because they are small in diameter, they can be hard to hold for extended periods of time, which is to be expected when using such a small tool. Good value and seem to be holding up well.

Works good

This is a nice little set of files for doing small precision work. I used these for filing on coin cut-outs and works fast! I ditched the plastic case and made a Lether one, much better. Most will enjoy this set.

Grit is not dispersed as evenly as a professional would expect, but not as bad as most cheap diamond files. They cut as well as diamond should, but the uneven grit has to be worked around. The case is horrible. It breaks and rips just sitting around. I guess it is a poor and brittle plastic for the job.

I needed needle files smaller than the ones I had. A friend told me about "mini needle files." I bought these and they work great.

I bought a cold cast pin off a seller on Etsy and was shocked to find that the seller didn't "clean it up" before shipping it out. They were claiming it was "handmade" but judging by similar advertisements for a fraction of the cost, I think it might have been a cheap pin that they bought from a Chinese seller on ebay and resold. It had rough edges in places as well as chunks that needed to be filed down. These files were nice and small and fit into the swirling details so that I could do the job of cleaning up myself. My crappy looking pin now looks halfway decent.

The tools are smaller than expected but a good set for modelling and crafting.

Will be interesting to see fi these do the job - I'm a military modeller - I'm not sure that these are as good as they look - will add to this review if they turn out to be great
