The color selection is outstanding for making my Great Granddaughter's first sewing kit.

You are getting more in quantity than expected
The yarn is not at thick as what you would get in a store like Walmart. But it will do for what I am using it for like small projects and even. Maybe some cross stitch and embroidery. You will need to find a place to store then since the rolls themselves are thick. I am currently storing them in a plastic ziplock bag.

Pay attention to thread weight
I did not pay attention to the thread weight and it is heavier than I expected. It will still run through my machine but barely. I love all the colors and would buy again if they make a lighter weight version.

Great for hand sewing (not for machines)
Beautiful colors, timely shipping, as promised. Do note that the thread would NOT be good for use with a sewing machine, which I believe is noted in the description, but is advertised on the item packaging itself. The thread is thicker than usual - great for hand sewing projects with larger-eyed needles, but not at all for a machine.
