SIMPSONSimpson Racing AD950BK Adrenaline Black Size 9-1/2 SFI Approved Driving Shoes

Honestly, I have concerns that these are a legit pair of Simpsons rather than counterfeits. However, they weren't purchased from a third-party seller, so they should be legit.After a season of moderate use, they're trashed. The area around the holes for the laces has torn on both shoes, the reflectors around the heels are falling out of the shoes, and the stitching is failing in various places. For the price I really expected these to hold up better. They're driving shoes, not hiking boots, not like they're worn in harshest of conditions.

The shoes are nice but the high top part is really bulky around the ankles and the Velcro strap is not long enough and keeps coming loose.

Sweet racing kicks

I'll have to deviate from the great reviews given here. Maybe my feet are overly sensitive or odd shaped, but I have issues with these hurting the back of my foot - enough to cause blisters and serious discomfort. I race rally (SFI is NOT required for rally, but I'm overly cautious) and the 100+ miles of stage roads and 100+ miles of transit over two days reallllyyyy make these uncomfortable - especially when I get out of the car to walk around in the controls/service. They seem to fit well otherwise, and are MUCH better than the G-Force paperboard construction. As I said, maybe it's MY feet, but I'm actively looking for another shoe.

They feel and look great!

I race endurance crapcans (24 Hours of Lemons), I'm often in my shoes for the whole day as I need them for both driving and fueling. These are head and shoulders above the budget G-Force shoes that I started out with.

Wanted to replace exact in kind….

The shoe that is pictured is not the shoe that arrived. The shoe I received does not have the Simpson logo on the toe. It’s still a nice shoe but the picture that’s shown needs to be updated to what they are shipping
