Really worth the investment, REALLY
I have a small bakery in Sinaloa, Mexico and these save my investment! Commercial refrigerators have fans in them to decrease moisture condensation and those dry out your cupcakes something terrible! I would put a dozen in and in 2 days, they were too dry to sell, I had a LOT of waste. The lid is high enough to cover my frosting and makes transport MUCH easier as well. I have 8 of them and put a dozen of each flavor in these in my big glass front fridge. The plastic cover is clear enough to see through well. My only suggestion is that you care for the plastic covers by washing with a soft cloth since I can see that it would scratch easily if a tough scrubby was used and they would not be so clear with time. I have always used a soft wet soapy rag, so have had NO scratching issues. They have paid for themselves already and I've had them less than a year.

Best Pan Ever!
I ordered this after using the mini muffin pan so I knew it would be good but I did not realize how good. I bake with almond and coconut flour and I hate using papers. Muffins always stick to them. So I rub some coconut oil in all the wells and pour in the batter. Everything comes out perfectly. A few days ago I over filled them based on a recipe and the honey/butter/cinnamon topping flowed all over the top of the pan and onto my stove bottom. I thought it would be tough to clean but it took no effort at all. The plastic lid is a bonus and perfect for transporting them or just covering them at home. I have two of these and only use recipe right pans for all my baking. I take very good care of all my pans and hand wash them all. Because they come so clean it doesn't take much effort to wash them.

Perfect size, super handy cover for transport
This is a perfect size. I had another cupcake pan and it was just a bit too deep and just a smidge too wide so my cupcake cups would sink down and would make my cupcake liners bunch ever so slightly. This one fits all my cupcake liners perfectly. It also feels sturdy and heats evenly. I haven't baked in it without liners, so I don't know how well the non-stick feature works out, but it still looks great after I've made about 6 batches of cupcakes in it.The cover fits perfectly and makes it easy to transport the cupcakes without having to buy a separate cupcake cover/transporter that would take up valuable kitchen space.I'll be buying more of these, because the quality is very nice, I bake cupcakes and muffins quite often, and I've always seen this at a great price.

Didn't need the cover
As it turned out, I didn't need the cover to the pan in that the muffins get eaten so fast that storing them is beside the point. Also, when there are any left, I find I like to store them in baggies, so that people can take them with them for a wholesome (mine are wholesome!) snack on the way to wherever. A muffin and a banana usually works well. The pan itself does the job, but don't put it through the dishwasher or it will immediately lose its non-stickiness. I did and now have to use Pam. It may lose it over time anyway, I don't know. These are cupcake sized muffins, not huge, not tiny.

... back into the tin after decorating them was a bad idea. It was difficult to get them out ...
The tin will bake your cupcakes evenly and whole up over time but I found that putting my cupcakes back into the tin after decorating them was a bad idea. It was difficult to get them out without messing up the frosting/design. The cupcakes sit too deep into the mold. Therefore I would recommend Wilton cupcake tin but the this set as a storage/travel system. I would purchase a different product to transport my decorated cupcakes.

Good pan, but wouldn't buy again.
I really like Wilton pans. The non-stick is great. But I did not give this pan 5 stars because it has a light metal finish. I make muffins a lot and had a Wilton cupcake pan with a lid at home before I purchased this one. I needed an additional pan so it would cut off 1/2 my cooking time by eliminating refilling my muffin pan and cooking the remaining batter. I also wanted to have a lid for storage. I did notice the finish on the cupcake pan at home was darker, but I did not realize light and dark finishes cook differently. I put the pans in the oven at the same time and temperature and this pan (light finish) cooks the muffins darker. It is not burnt, but you can definitely taste the darkness on the muffin. It is not too much of an issue for me that I won't use this muffin pan (because it does cut my cooking time in 1/2 due to the amount of muffins I make at a time), but I go for my darker metal finished muffin pan first. And if I would have know, I probably would not have bought this pan.So it is a good muffin pan. The non-stick is good. But I would have preferred a muffin pan with a darker metal finish.

Sturdy and great quality!
I started just a month ago with a small business of cupcakes, I always liked baking ! of course I needed a way to transport the muffins without getting all the frosting get damaged but I didn't want something so expensive (there are other bigger options out there) because it is just a home made business and I'm not sure if i will keep on this in the future so i didn't want to spend so much money. I decided this was the best option for the moment and I'm very glad I picked it! :) The recipient is very nice, sturdy and the cover stays in place and have enough depth to make nice decorations without spoiling them. Very glad with my purchase so far:)

Good product, but didn't meet expectations.
I bake a lot, and much of my baking tins are by Wilton, so I didn't have any doubt when I placed my order; plus, I was excited that it had a lid, which would allow me to transport my baked goods without moving them to a different container. However, the FIRST time I used it, one side "melted," so that the edge bent down and the lid no longer would fit. It was only in an oven of 350 degrees, so I was surprised that the pan deformed so easily. Otherwise, I did like that it cleaned nicely, and I used cooking spray to ensure that there was no sticking; however, without the lid being able to fit on, it defeated the purpose of having it. Will have to go back to transporting my goodies in a separate container.....
