An inexpensive fix and a good place to start with 4wd issues
I had an intermittent issue where my 4WD switch would not light up and the buttons would not engage. I thought it was a connector issue to the switch because every time I would jiggle the connector, the switch would light up and be operational. I decided to replace the switch. It fixed the issue, I also discovered the switch is backlit so at night you can see what it says in the dark, comes out as a blueish/white with orange indicator lights to tell which drive you are in. Glad it fixed my problem and good price!!!

Best price and quality part
No need to pull panel to install this switch . It will pop out from the front . I had been having problems earlier and noticed the light for 2 or 4 wheel drive not working . Had some snow and tried 4 wheel drive to get out of a steep driveway and wouldn't go into 4 wheel drive . Very easy and inexpensive fix .

Fixed my problem.
After changing the front actuator and splicing in a new ground, I still had no 4x4. Installed these switches and everything started working great. Easy install. Just plug it in an go.

Great value, looks factory and worked great.
My 99 Chevrolet k2500 kept blowing #24 4x4 fuse. I had already replaced the front actuator but kept blowing the fuse when pushing the 4x4 button. Dash witch arrived today, looked just like the factory switch. Took about a minute to install and test. No fuse blowing fixed the problem.
