I highly recommend this! I purchased it for an overseas mission trip to Africa. It folds up & packs well for travel. I used it in very rural villages where bagged water was all that was available. Before my trip I was cautioned against drinking bagged water, so I bought this in preparation. It comes with instructions for usage & long term storage. It also comes with a syringe for backwashing the filter in case it gets clogged & sluggish. I currently have mine with a salt solution for long term storage. It helps the filter not dry out & it’s explained in the included instructions how to do this. It’s foldable, but the material is very sturdy. When I had it full & was drinking, I squeezed it fairly hard & threw it in my backpack many times. It remained sound. I also love that each purchase provides clean drinking water to very deserving people. I witnessed true poverty during this trip to a 3rd world country, & everyone deserves clean drinking water.

Great for hiking and running. The filter works very well and allows for longer runs where clean water is not available. Easy to fill and clean. Does not leak. There’s a bit of a plastic taste from the bottle but it’s not too bad

My son has one on his backpack as he tours the national parks. He has used it several times and it never disappoints. All his buddies carry one now. I’ve used it a couple times and am happy with the function of the filter and the taste of the water.

I bought these for my husband and son to go deep mountain hiking. I was uncomfortable with the amount of water they were taking, I have a life straw water bottle and it’s great. I bought the squeeze bags so if they needed to, they could squeeze the water out for cooking their food. My husband didn’t want to take it at first, but they did. It was a real life saver for them. They ran out of drinkable water and would have had to come home after 2 days. But they were able to stay the full trip because of the squeeze bags.i would highly encourage everyone to have 1 of these for a “just in case” emergency. You never know what the world will bring.

I’ve never used anything like this before and I loved it! Purchased the 1L size for my June/July trip to Peru. Let me tell you that the water in Cusco had a strong smell and it ran milky white out of the tap. This filtration system removed all of that! I brushed my teeth, rinsed out refillable water bottles and cups, and washed/rinsed my invisible aligners with this. During long tours I carried it with water and there was no spillage. I loved that I could just squeeze it directly into what I needed (cup, aligners, bottles, my hands). Without squeezing there’s a nice steady flow of water that runs out of the filter which is nice.Initially the water will have like a charcoal taste, but it goes away after a couple of uses. Make sure you backwash the filter and rinse out the bag. It comes with the backwash syringe and it’s easy to use.Hint for removing the filter without it dropping: The top part of the bag is a stiff plastic, hold onto that when removing/twisting the cap for removal. DO NOT hold onto filter inside the bag while you twist off the cap for removal.

This water bottle worked amazing for the 1st 24 hrs.I took it on a 37 mile hike as my primary drinking source. The design is great because not only can you drink from it but you can fill bottle from it as well.But it quit working! 20 miles into the back country on its first trip it quit working!!! Couldn’t squeeze or suck a drop of water from it.I’m an experienced backpacker so I always have backup ways to clean my water but this was incredibly inconvenient and dangerous for newbies who may rely on it.Not sure if mine is just a fluke but dang disappointing
