LOVED THIS
Too expensive so I returned it, BUT I LOVED IT. I wish it came in a shorter version for half the price. It is the perfect softness for someone starting out and with current back pain issues (me).

EXTRA LONG! Perfect for back and spine
I got this strictly for rolling my back - the other one I had was too firm and hurt my back, and my therapist recommended a softer one. This one is perfect - I probably didn't need the 36" one but it was the only one that was available the next day and it works great, there is just more of it to store. I ended up getting a little mounting rack for it to keep it off the floor. Cats like to destroy these things so I wanted to keep my new one completely out of reach. Great roller, not so firm that it hurts and still does the job needed especially for spinal and back therapy.

VERY soft, but that's what I wanted.
This is the softest roller I have ever used. I use it mostly to work out lower back pain; put it under your back, just above your waist, laying supine, and rock back and forth to stretch the lower back muscles. I find the stiffer rollers are just too painful for me. The rollers at my club/gym are stiffer than this one, but less than the really hard ones, so they work. I wanted to get one for use at home, and this unit was exactly right, even better than the ones at the gym. Aaaaah!

Super soft?
‘Soft’ is in the eye of the beholder. This super soft roll is the softest physical therapy roll I’ve tried - and I’ve used them for years - but not as soft as I had hoped. It is definitely top quality and should help relieve spinal curvature tension pain for many years.

Pricey but worth it (super soft)
The super soft allows me to roll on my most tender days. It supports getting a good stretch in and that helps recovery adter heavy lift days. I felt it was pricey but as long as you actually use it, I think its worth it. Be careful how you store it. It can get indentation if leaned up or smashed by rigid objects.

Very nice, suer soft
Very nice, super soft. My PT wanted me to roll out my IT band and I just could NOT with other rollers. They are too hard and I feel like I’m causing bruising. I got this one and now I can roll out any part of my legs. It still does the job and tea massages the muscles and tendons, just no bruising at the end.

Width
This is narrower than a standard yoga mat, and it's not very comfortable for a lot of poses
