My Preferred Compression Sock
Since a significant lower extremity injury last year, I have been in compressional socks for at least 16 hours daily. Appalled by prices for established name brands... think "J" and "S"... I have turned to Amazon for compression for athletes. Many are quite good. I believe those by Run Forever are the best. Why?1. The socks are cotton.2. They are incredibly easy to put on, so much so that I initially queried if the socks were indeed 20-30mm HG compression (they are and maintain great compression over hours of wear).3. They are value priced.4.There is minimal patterning. I originally thought this would not matter, but if you have experienced indentation lasting hours after removing a patterned sock with heavy seams, you're quite aware of the problem. So good are these socks, I've ordered two additional pairs. In my view, and especially if these socks last a year as suggested, they are a terrific investment.

Run Forever Sports small compression socks
Excellent quality compression stockings from material to sewing. I'd expect them to last for a long time as long as I wash them in a small laundry bag. I'm 5"2 with a 14" calf size and 14.5" from the bottom of my foot to the bend in the back of my knee, and size small fits me perfectly. The toe box is a brilliant design. At first look I thought they would get all bunched up in the shoes, but they give me just enough space for the toes to wiggle around and be comfy in there without any extra bulk. Impressed.

You're Done Looking Around for Supportive Socks, Right Here!
Okay: I compared 4 pairs of socks and this is the winner. Comfortable the entire length of the sock. I don't need to turn them down at the top. The toe is not too tight, and I can align the toe proper with the larger area of colouration different from the rest of the sock. It is a thicker weave, so the collar doesn’t dig in at the top of the calf. Static: none. These feel supportive as my legs and feet don’t seem to tire. The Run Forever Sports Team and Co-founder, Christy, sent a message quickly after delivery to offer answers to customer questions and proper use, wear and care of the sock. A follow-up email was the question to this answer, that of a simple rating. No pressure. And, I’m sorry to say this, but the FYIs and the emails were in proper grammar, lacking these days in an international setting. Very happy. More of these on the way! I am a nurse who doesn’t like to sit … these are a simple necessity to my day."Compression Socks for Men & Women – BEST (20-30mmHg) Medical Grade Graduated Recovery Stockings for Nurses, Maternity, Travel, Running, Leg Relief, Prevent Swelling, Calf Pain, Shin Splints"

These socks saved my sprained foot on a trip to Europe!!! awesome socks
I very rarely post a review but I can say that buying this compression sock "saved me" on a recent trip to Europe. I googled and found this sock and decided to buy a pair to carry on a trip to Europe. I am 68 years old and healthy with no real issues but just decided to buy a pair. I wore them on the flight over and they felt wonderful and kept my feet from swelling. We had a wonderful trip until I decided to wear sandals when visiting a museum with marble stairs - bad idea. I ended up falling the last 3 stairs and when I landed I was sure that I had broken my foot. I did not break it fortunately but I had to travel the next day with a 9 hour jet trip and there is no way that I could have managed without the wonderful compression socks. I went to a doctor when I got home and he said to continue wearing the compression sock and to keep my foot elevated as much as possible. Well it is 3 weeks later and yesterday was the first day that I went without my wonderful compression sock. I wear a size 13 shoe and the sock was just so comforting to my swollen and purple foot. I did fold down the sock about 4 inches from my knee because I have a large calf size. The sock NEVER lost its snugness!!! I wore it with some open sandals to work. I can never thank the company enough for creating such a wonderful sock. If anyone is traveling, I would never go without taking compression socks.

Definitely NOT 20-30mm/HG-Edited-Revised
These compression stockings state they have 20-30mm/HG pressure.NOT! I've worn compression stocking since 1998 and 20-30 style since 2008. 20-30 compression stockings are at least somewhat difficult to put on and take effort. These stocking just slid right on.After removing them after wearing for 8 hours, my problem ankle and leg were still swollen- not as much as not wearing a stocking, but not as much as other stockings I've purchased on Amazon, and definlitely not as muck after wearing Mediven, Jobst or Jumo. The stockings were relatively comfortable, but don't meet the specs.3-3-19OK, I wore these again. My feet and legs must have been in a bad mood the first time. I put the stockings on as soon as I got up and wore them all day. At night, after wearing them for 14+ hours, my feet a legs were not swollen at all. I couldn't believe the difference.I'm going to order another pair to confirm whether or not they work as advertised. This time when I put them on, I had to work a bit, more like I expected.

I think the socks are nice - but due to DVT
I think the socks are nice - but due to DVT, I was advised to wear compression stockings - but it pressed into my skin at the top (under my knee) so badly that I had to take it off - I knew it was not good to have something bind up so badly. My leg is swollen from the clots....so the product seems very good, but I need to find something that has a 'looser' top!
