A Good Place to Start
I was looking for a book that provides basic information about coaching teachers. This was helpful! I appreciated the examples, dialogue, and helpful tips. As someone (thinking about) getting started in a new role in education, this was a good place to start!

Informative and “Gripping”
For me this was a page turner. I loved how it was broken down into chunk to explicitly tell the move, tell why it’s helpful, and how to implement it. I also loved the videos and forms embedded through the book. The scenarios felt familiar and I think that truly helped this book be something different. I really couldn’t put this book down.

Must have!
Great for new coaches! Just the guidance on coaching conversations makes this a worthy purchase for any coach.

Helpful
The first part of the book is great, and I learned a lot. The last quarter is repetitive. I don't agree with the authors' idea that co-teaching is always the way to coach. In my experience, a coach has to look at their audience and sometimes modeling is more appropriate.
