Look Back Paperback – September 20, 2022

This is a short story by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man. This one came out after he finished Part 1 of Chainsaw man and you can see the improvement in his storytelling and art. The story is a phenomenal experience. The way he tells his story and puts emotions in his art without any words is done wonderfully. This is a great short book to read and I would recommend it to anyone.

This one-shot moved me, the beautiful and tragic story of friendship nearly brought me to tears. Not just from then words written, but the expressions from the characters. An absolute must read.

I bought and read this before the movie came out, amazing short story that’ll have you hooked

I actually didn’t even know my mom bought this, I was super surprised when it came in. I’ve already watched the Anime and loved it, so I wanted to get the Manga as well. I’m going on a cruise soon, so my mother thought I should get a book for it, in case we are waiting. Now, to the actual review, it’s very beautiful, and looks exactly like online. The pages are great and not torn, it’s not bent either. I recommend getting this if you’re interested, it is super interesting. If you like drawing and anime, I recommend getting this.

I had seen the movie poster of "Look Back" at the cinema &, being a fan of "Chainsaw Man", I decided to read the manga."Look Back" is a coming of age book about an artist's struggle with being the best, manga, and the friendship she develops along the way. Though very different from Fujimoto's previous work, "Look Back" is similar in that it has a lot of heart.It was a good read, and I can't wait to see the anime. I recommend it.

just love the story!! It gives different feeling while reading it comparing to the movie.

I picked up this copy because of the rave reviews I've read about it. I liked the main characters and their interactions. There are just some issues I had with pacing, but overall, a wonderful story, and good read.
