Scholastic Success with Reading Comprehension Grade 1 Workbook Paperback – February 1, 2022

This little books are so helpful, I order them all year long for me and the kiddos

My 6 year old is doing amazing at reading. He flew through this book! It kept him engaged and never got boring for him. Each activity was something different than the last, making it more fun. I just bought him the 2nd grade one!

This book is an amazing complement for my English classes!

The media could not be loaded. Colorful and fun reading comprehension activities with proper grammar. I wish there were more pages (thinner than I expected) but you could always build on the prompts for more lessons. For example, an arts and crafts session where the student creates their own truck and explains what it would carry and who/how it helps.Using it for ESL students so the age/grade level doesn't always match the book. It depends on their skill level and I like to make sure they can phonetically pronounce at least 60% of the text.

I’m using the workbook with a child with some learning disabilities and the activities help her to understand things a bit better. I’m grateful for the well thought out paragraphs and helpful activities!

As a teacher, this book is my my go to.

As a retired kinder and first grade teacher for almost 31 years. I am impressed!!!!
