Pentel Mechanical Pencil Graphgear500-0.3mm - PG513

Really great mechanical pencil! I have the 0.3 lead and it works great for smaller details! The lead is a bit weak but that's expected with how thin it is. This is definitely my go-to pencil for drawing :)

Great for sketching

These pencils are great, I use the .03 size and they are perfect for me. They feel good in your hand. Only drawback is … don’t drop on concrete. If the nib gets damaged, just buy another one.

This thing is thin but hefty and sturdy. Feels like a professional's tool for sure. Used it to write and sketch a bit - Loved it.

For drawing, I prefer this model over Pentel's Graphgear 1000. It doesn't have the survivability of the GG 1000 (due to that pencil's metal barrel and retractable tip), but the weight distribution on this model is superior in my opinion. The plastic barrel barely feels like it's there, with all the mass at the front where you grip. Makes the pencil very comfortable and controllable. This'll be my 4th GG 500 purchase, and I'll likely end up buying more as needed. Be careful not to drop them and bend the tip, and they'll serve you well for many years.

I really like the feel of these mechanical Pencils in your hand they do not feel cheap. I gave it 4 starts because I hate the lead that comes with them it is to hard and feels like it scratches the paper instead of draws on it. I will be getting different lead.

Has a nice grip but seems to lack in heft. Certainly draws a 0.3 mm line and holds the lead well as you would expect from Pentel. It is just a little tip heavy (or shaft light) for me.

J'ai vu beaucoup de retours positifs sur ce critérium, du coup, j'ai voulu l'essayer à mon tour. Je dois dire que j'ai été assez surprise par sa légèreté. Je n'ai eu aucune difficulté durant la prise en main. Les traits sont légers et fluides :) Je suis satisfaite de mon achat. Je le recommande pour les débutants et les professionnels 😀👌.

È ottima questa matita meccanica, la migliore, non posso farne a meno. La prima matita l’ho acquistata 4 anni fa, disegnavo ogni giorno, poi però l’ho distrutta versando dell’olio, ed è entrato nel meccanismo, non riuscivo più a schiacciare la mina. Colpa mia, ovviamente. Poco tempo fa l'ho riacquistata, nonostante siano passati 4 anni dalla prima che avevo comprato, la qualità è rimasta tale, a differenza di molti altri prodotti che con gli anni peggiorano. La consiglio vivamente.

The Pentel Graphgear 500 (0.3mm) is a solid mechanical pencil with great build quality. The grip feels comfortable and secure, making it easy to write or draw for long periods. Overall, the product itself is really good. However, the provider/manufacturer should definitely consider including a lead pack with the pencil. Since it's a 0.3mm size, the leads are not always easy to find, and having at least one pack included would make the purchase feel more complete and convenient. Good product, but missing a small essential detail.
