Another great book by Mr. Johnson. Look, not only for kids, for adults (like me), too!

This is a wonderful book! As a teacher and a parent, I would highly recommend this readable, easy to follow resource. There are numerous hand drawn diagrams which take the reader through each stage, simply and easily. Unlike some other instructional books, there is no jump between stages which can leave the reader confused! This is one of those books that is not only beautiful, but also incredibly useful for anyone who wants to venture into pop-ups with kids (young and old!) The connections between pop-ups and all areas of the curriculum are evident throughout - a natural fit for any teacher who has a transdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. I have used some of the projects with ESL kids and had great results. The tactile nature of this media is SO appealing to kids who are visual/kinaesthetic learners. I want to buy two copies because I already know that one is going to fall apart from daily use. This is a no-brainer, by far the best resource book that I bought in recent years.

Fun for all ages and easy to follow for kids

If you are looking at purchasing only one of Paul Johnson's books, this is it. It is an excellent resource book. Although it is geared to classroom, I purchased it for personal use. The instructions are easy to follow. There are a wealth of designs to choose from. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it. I purchased this book from a used book store. The book arrived in good condition and in good time.
