Some insoles are so thick, they make your heels feel tight. Do these insoles also cause that?

I bought the 3/4 insoles to tighten up my shoes so they would not be so loose on my feet. These insoles are thicker than most, I think, but they worked for me. They work great for toeless shoes.

Do these help make the shoes fit better? My shoes a just a little too big.

I am not sure. I added them to a pair of mules and didn't feel a difference in fit. They are fairly thin, with just a little cushion. If they make any difference in fit, I believe it would be slight.

I have brand new sandals that have a manmade foot bed & makes sucking noise. Is the footbed of these a felt fabric as opposed to plastic???

Mine is soft like a felt material.
