Saved me a lot of work
I went to swap out a light switch from a 5 bank blue electrical box. Found out during that process that one of the screw holds for the switch I was swapping was busted. Had no idea how I was going to fix this without cutting the drywall, removing the box, and replacing it. A Reddit hole led me to this little clip. This thing worked perfectly. It was a little tough to get on but once it is there, it held the screw tightly and I didn't have to replace the electrical box. Worth it!

Great product
Very well designed & manufactured; saved tons of time vs. a DIY fix.

Wow - lifesaver
I was installing a dimmer when the screw broke inside the threads. I then damaged the threads removing the screw. But these clips worked great. Secured the outlet perfectly. Then later, I found I needed it again when I noticed that the builder broke the threads in another outlet - again these clips saved the day.

Really the only solution short of box replacement
I had two workboxes that no longer held one of the screws. One of them (double box), the screw was broken off and the other just stripped. In neither case did I want to replace the boxes. For the broken screw case, I needed to chip out the old screw socket. I should have taken out even more of the boss or shorten the screw, because the screw started to strip this new grip.I still need to do the other box (a ceiling box with one stripped screw hole. These are not cheap but real time savers.

The ones that didn’t break appear to be holding up
I have a couple of outlets that have popped from the wall. One of them is surrounded by stone tile so rather than replacing the box, a “handyman” attempted to secure it by jamming in wood screws. Needless to say, it not only didn’t hold for very long but also tore up the holes so badly that screws no longer have any material to screw into. In attempt to repair this myself I googled a bit and came upon these clips. I wasn’t crazy about the price because I’m naturally cheap, but I was tired of looking at the duct tape keeping the outlet in place. Anyway, the clips slipped in fairly easily with just a little fiddling around to get them into the correct position. The bottom worked like a charm. I was able to easily fit a proper type screw and secure the bottom of the outlet. Unfortunately, I wasn’t as successful with my the top clip. A little triangular piece broke off from the clip as I was screwing it in, rendering the clip useless. Luckily I had also purchased a similar sort of clippy thing that was longer (and ultimately more durable) so I was able to finish the outlet repair. So far it’s holding up. I only use the outlet for the microwave which stays plugged in. I don’t know how durable these would be on an outlet that sees a lot of plugging and unplugging.

Just what the doctor ordered!
Short and sweet. I installed smart exhaust fan switches in all of our bathrooms, using the fans for whole-house ventilation. When re-installing a single toggle switch, the screw put up a /bit/ of resistance, and then just snapped. The extractors didn't work. I eventually drilled on two sides of the broken piece, figuring I'd ruin the electrical box, but that's life.My way worked well enough for me to get needle-nose pliers on the broken screw stub and back it out. Surprisingly, the threads in the box were still good enough that I could have left it as is and been /fairly/ comfortable buttoning everything up.But I tried the G-clip for a more 'proper' fix.The drywall opening around the box was a bit tighter than I would have liked, so I had to push a bit harder to get the G-Clip in place, but when it went, it went with a satisfying snap.To protect the drywall, I slid a putty knife between the drywall and the box, and then used a jeweler's screwdriver to 'lever' the G-Clip gently into place, centering its hole over the remaining hole in the box.The screw went in smoothly with just enough 'bite' to convince me that the G-Clip was, indeed, solving the problem, and wasn't just acting as a pretty bauble ;-)TL;DR: it worked!

Didn't work for me
Maybe it's the specific outlet box I have, but I could simply not get these to work. I have a light switch that is installed in a box that now has both screw holes busted out after getting by on just one for years. I thought these would save me from having to put a bigger hole in the wall to replace the box. Unfortunately, they simply won't go.
