On Monday When It Rained: A Rare Disease, A Family in Crisis, and the Cutting-Edge Medicine That Cured the Incurable

I’m using this for my 4 year old to teach Zones of Regulation- they have a lot of free resources on their site including a list of books and this was one of them that I couldn’t find at the library. The expressions are really great in this book- the kid and photographer did a great job getting disappointed, proud, embarrassed and more.

Excellent and exactly what I was looking for as an introduction to feeling for primary aga children.

I purchased this book to use with Zones of Regulation Curriculum. I like that the book is short and straight to the point. It holds young children's attention and is relatable. I was able to have some good, age appropriate discussion with the students based on what was in the book and relate it to Zones of Regulation as well.
