Does this clean quarters? The quarters were in a flood and attempt to clean with bleach put brown spots on them. Will this clean these quarters?

I have quite a bit of coins I'd like to clean....do they have to be cleaned individually or what is recommended

You may be able to clean them in a batch, but I'd recommend testing one at a time first. Also soap and water might be all you need?

Does this stuff loose it's effectiveness over time. Does it have an expiration date?

I did not se an expiration date on it. I have had mine for close to a year and it still works as good as it did the first time I used it.

Heard it removes milk spots, is that right?

Unfortunately, there is nothing I have found that will remove those milk spots. I believe that there is foreign material in the silver and not a tarnish or oxidation of the silver.

Great product for dip cleaning.

I don't collect numismatic coins, but hate seeing coins tarnished and oxidized.One quick dip and rinse blot dry, they look good as new!It is recommended to not clean valuable/rare coins, but i doubt I'll ever get back more than the silver content and i have no plans to sell! So i prefer shiny vs dull and dirty.This is for tarnish/ oxidation, and it works on all types of metals, silver copper etc. Not for milk spots! That another product and review!There are many videos on how to dip clean coins.I've purchased several times and i am very pleased! YMMV

I’ll Never Use Anything Else

Don’t waste your time polishing when you can do the same thing in less than 15 seconds. Used it to clean a couple dozen ounces of silver bullion in only a few minutes. The included basket made it easy to clean 2 rounds/bars at once. Came out looking brand new. Just mad it took me this long to find out about this product!

Works well!

This cleans silver coins perfectly. My jar included a little "dip apparatus" which is absolutely useless. Only a very small coin would fit in it.I used disposable gloves. I placed each silver coin in a square of cheese cloth and dipped the coin in the solution for maybe 2-5 seconds. Then I washed the coin very well in clean water, and then patted the coin dry (not rubbed) with a soft cloth. Perfect!I did not use ammonia that others say they used.

Not so great for me

The coin cleaner shipped out and arrived on time.It was shipped in a box.The Coin cleaner was wrapped in plastic and leaking inside the box.We ended up getting watery cleaning solution all over opening the box.It has a very strong smell to it.Tried it on a few coins with not so good of results.One coin now has about 4 lines across it that I can't remove.No real seal in the lid so even if it's tightly closed and you move it aroundit leaks out all around the lid.Not worth the money or the mess for me.I would not recommend or buy again
