This is not my go to supplement for my long runs. The taste is really good compared to other gels I have had. Normally I’m a textured type of person and tips it’s not right I can’t swallow it. This goes down so easy and taste really good. I open one pack for every 40 mins of running. It does give you a little boost of energy needed to get through my run. I do take it with water and it’s help with the hydration. It packs are just the right size it fits perfect in my running vest.

I love Gu gels and these are a great value to try out all the different flavors. I just wanted to change it up between rides. Gels are thick and carb dense and these are no exception. Good flavors, good packaging, good variety. You won't be disappointed!

GU has been my favorite mid workout boost for a long time. I am loving all the new flavors. Easy to use with a smooth texture. All in a compact package which makes it easy to take on a run or a bike ride.

I think I've tried all the flavors in the box. I keep it on a high shelf so I do blindly reach up and grab one before going on a run. Bought these after foolishly trying energy chews and energy stroop waffels both of which had me choking on the run or running with a dry and sticky mouth. While running a half marathon, one of the aid stations at the halfway point was giving these out and I tried the vanilla one. Zero issues with my stomach digesting it during the run. Didn't dry out my mouth and it was easy to quickly swallow and be done. Gave me an energy boost to finish with a PR so I bought this box. Not a fan of chocolate anyway, but it's fine. Salted caramel and vanilla taste pretty good. Haven't really noticed a difference between ones with caffeine and those without. Before I order another box, I ordered a box of natural energy gels as I'm trying to remove as much fake/processed stuff as possible.

It’s a little on the sweet side. I like the size and ease of use while running, grand and go.

In regards to energy, I will say this definitely works. I feel the boost of energy, although I become pretty exhausted towards the end of the workout, so maybe I am just taking it a bit early. In regards to taste and texture, I will say this is almost exactly like eating frosting. I absolutely love it. The taste is amazing and the texture is fun to eat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

These taste really, really good, and come in a variety of cool flavors. I use them pre-workout on an empty stomach and have no issues. I do drink some water with them as recommended. They definitely give me a little boost that I need to exercise first thing in the morning. I’m okay doing fasted cardio but fasted strength training was not going well. The caffeinated gels seem to provide just enough “motivation” to push through weight lifting without insane amounts of caffeine that other pre-workout products provide. I highly recommended them! I’ve even found myself using one of the non-caffeinated gels as a tasty dessert on a few occasions.
