It is what it says it is
A great introduction to the field of environmental economics and policy-making. It does not require large prior knowledge about economics, but takes the Reader from Zero right to the Topic and manages to convey key concepts very well. The focus on existing policies and problems is something I particularly liked. If you want deep understanding of single aspects or detailed case studies however, you should obviously consider purchasing a thicker book.

Not as exciting as expected
I wish the discussion could have been made more concise (less repetitive) and more examples from empirical studies could have been provided. This book reads like an "introductory" version of an undergrad textbook.

Great Introduction to the Topic
Informative for a short book and doesn't require extensive knowledge of microeconomics beforehand.
