Well, for openers, I wouldn't exactly consider this tripod to be "Heavy Duty" as stated in the description. It is, however, sturdy enough for me to be comfortable using it with my cameras, including my Nikon P1000, which is a beast, weighing in at just over 3 lbs. without having to worry that it will collapse or blow over in a breeze. I should point out, that when using it with the Nikon, I also use a tripod mount support adapter for weight balance as I do on any other tripod.What it is, is a nicely made, good looking, lightweight and compact tripod suitable for hiking or travel. All functions, like pan and tilt, work well and smoothly and when locked into position, I haven't notice any drift which I consider to be important. It also has a conveniently built in collapsible carry handle, and comes with a nice soft carry case, a smart phone adapter, and an extra mounting plate which I thought was a nice touch and which allows me to change cameras without changing the mounting plate.If something changes in the future, I'll update this review, but, for now, I'm really pleased with it and would definitely buy it again. Oh, and did I say it was good looking too?

Thing is great. I was skeptical but it's pretty well built. Has a bubble level to make sure tripod is level but even it it's not the gimbal can be adjusted every which way and also raised another 10 or 12 inches independent of the legs. Way overkill for my projector but will be nice with my laser level for work.The one downside though, The gimbal thing that screws onto the main body of the tripod doesn't seem to have any way to lock so if your not paying attention & rotate the thing a few times counter clockwise you could potentially drop your equipment. Not a deal breaker but deff something to look out for

I've read some comments where people criticize the tripod's performance for not being solid enough to support photography or video cameras. Please note that this is a tripod designed for small cameras and accessories like cell phones (I use it for my small telescope, as shown in the photos).With that said, I consider it an excellent tripod for the price. I also had to mention that after having an issue with one of the legs, I contacted customer service and they resolved my problem in less than 24 hours in a friendly and satisfactory manner.In summary, good tripod (for lightweight equipment), good price, and excellent customer service from the company.

I was honestly surprised by how good the Tripod is, especially for the $30 price tag. I’ve used it for both my DSLR and phone, and it handles both really well. The height is great it goes all the way up to 74 inches, which is taller than most budget tripods, but it also collapses down nicely and fits in the included carry bag. Super convenient for travel or just tossing in the car for a shoot.The build feels solid for the price it’s lightweight aluminum, so easy to carry, but still sturdy enough for most setups. I wouldn’t use it with a heavy-duty camera rig, but it handles my Canon and phone mounts without any issues. The 3-way pan head is smooth and lets you shoot from just about any angle horizontal, vertical, whatever you need. It’s not pro video tripod smooth, but for casual video, livestreaming, or photography, it’s more than enough.Setup is fast, it comes with some handy extras like an extra quick-release plate and phone holder, and it just works well. I would take a star off because when putting in the carrying case you do need to break down some components. But or beginners, YouTubers, or anyone who needs a reliable, tall tripod without spending a fortune, this is a great buy.

I bought this device to replace my telescope Celestron base.This tripod has great materials, it is strong and very tall. Has some accessories to quickly connect cameras, the telescope and include a support to cellphone.I am very happy with this item. I hope use in other application such support levels and measure distances laser to perform installation and construction tasks.

I love this tripod! I honestly needed it a long time agoit has so many functions. It’s portable, practical, easy to take apart, and it’s never fallen or put my phone at risk. I seriously recommend it! It’s professional-grade you can use it with your phone or your camera. 10 out of 10

This is the second tripod I’ve bought and this one is way higher quality than the first one I purchased. After only a couple days of using the old one the leg broke off. I’ve used this one almost everyday since I bought it and it just seems way higher quality. It also has a cool little feature that I didn’t really notice until I got it and that is it has a crank on it that raises whatever you are using higher into the air than just where it sits. Only thing would have made this thing better is a Bluetooth remote to start and stop the recording because everytime I have to press record it move it ever so slightly out of where I had it.

I bought this reasonably-priced tripod to replace the flimsy one that came with a bird spotting scope that was too heavy for it. This tripod is a much more stable platform for the scope. It also is taller than the first one, which makes it more versatile. Good purchase.
