An enjoyable little book !
I first lived in England 40 years ago so many of these words and phrases are second nature to me. This Readers' Digest book published in 2011 provides not only definitions but origins and is very well written. I've searched for similar books for quite a while and am not disappointed with this one. I only wish it were a much larger compilation.

Helps with those odd sayings.
Full of the things the Brits say. It also explains why they use those wordsinstead of the ones we use in the USA. Fun reading.
