Picture is misleading
The picture of the cans, with one lid off looks as if it can be used with pro gun setup and not a straw.

Beware if buying to use with Pro foam gun
Not the foam to get if you are looking to use with Pro foam gun since it doesn't come with adapter dispite being the Great Stuff PRO foam...plastic straw is a cheap and will break

Top snaps off. Do not buy.
I'm remodeling my home and I've purchased about 10 cans of Dow Great Stuff in the last 3 months. Three of the ten cans had the top (the white plastic piece where the straw threads attach) snap off while attaching the straw applicator. I wasn't abusing the tops. One of them snapped off with a tiny amount of pressure (just before I actually threaded it all the way to the bottom). The other two cans threaded all the way but when I tried to apply the foam, the top didn't compress and none of the foam came out. I wiggled the top and then tried to screw it on tighter. Nothing worked so I tried to wiggle it / screw it in a little more and that's when it snapped. The cans become useless once the top snaps off.I called Dow and got a really friendly customer service person. The first thing she asked for was the expiration date on the cans. I looked at the bottom of the cans and gave her the dates. One of the cans was passed the expiration date (funny thing, since I purchased them only 3 months ago). The ever so friendly customer service person told me that 2 of the cans were defective and she could help me with those. She said she couldn't help me with the expired can. I explained that the cans all failed in the same way and ask what the expiration date had to do with the cap snapping off? She said that the top will snap off after the cans expire. What?!??!? I then said that the other 2 cans weren't passed the expiration date and the tops still snapped off. That's when she told me to try and return them to the store. I won't be buying this stuff again.NOTE: 1 can was the 16oz window and door product, 1 can was the 16oz gaps and cracks, and 1 can was the 12oz big gap filler

Bad design
I have three cans, all new, and no straws. One got thrown out by an inattentive worker and the other two broke when I tried to clean them with acetone. This stuff may be good for professionals or people who can use a whole can at once, but I wanted to do so over the course of a few days and had to clean out the straw. Why doesn't Dow make the straws available? Profit? Their assertion that it's a one-time-use product is nonsense. Let the owner decide, not the manufacturer.

Plastic straw breaks easily
Followed the instructions and screwed on the plastic straw. After shaking thoroughly, tried dispensing and the straw piece actually broke off, taking the top of the canister off and basically making it impossible to use. Have no idea how well the product works considering I can't get any of it out. Would not buy again.
