Does it work for carpet beetles?

Yes, however it has not worked on carpet beetle larvae. I actually put several larvae in an empty pill bottle with about 1/4" DE covering the bottom. A week later they were all still alive. I wouldn't recommend buying this and expecting good results if you have evidence of carpet beetles and their larvae throughout your home.

Description says 100% Diatomaceous Earth, bottle states 85% active ingredient, 15% other ingredients. What are other ingredients?

I reached out to the company regarding this and this is what they said, "Any product claiming to kill insects must be registered with the EPA and the EPA requires the ingredients for the Crawling Insect Killer (diatomaceous earth) to show 15% “other” to represent moisture and trace elements as it is a product mined from the earth and it cannot say Food Grade and also say that it kills insects. There are no additives or fillers. Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth cannot be registered with the EPA and claim it kills insects; the label can say 100% diatomaceous earth. The ingredients are identical. The difference is the packaging and labeling."

How to apply it in a bedroom and on a bed?

Do not apply where you are likely to inhale it directly. Let any clouds dissipated. While not toxic, any fine powder in your lungs can do harm.

Does this kill millipedes?

It says it does, I don't have those so I can't swear to it. Good luck.
