Great For Little Hands
My two boys (6&7) use these pencils for their handwriting practice. We like that they are shorter, thick and triangular shaped to help with gripping. We also like the quality of the wood used and also the way the graphite writes, itโs very smooth and also very dark without having to apply so much pressure. They are a must have for beginner writers.

Great for Visually Impaired
I'm a vision teacher and these pencils are great for VI students. I ordered them for a 5 year old recently. When he used them for the first time, he was amazed that he could see what he was writing. My 90 year old mom loves them for the same reason!

My favorite pencil of all time! Hands down
My favorite pencil of all time. Why? So, I've always loved to draw, but my handwriting skills and long term stamina always decrease as I go. The unique shape of the pencil really eases the grip issue I have with regular, thin pencils. This just fits in your hand in such a weighty and satisfying way. The graphite is really smooth, and gives you a great point and a large level of greys that you'd want in a pencil. I appreciate the way it can get super sharp of a point for maximum control, but at the same time, keep that point for a while. It's obviously not "unlimited" sharpness, but for a pencil to stay this comfortable and sharp and durable and flexible at this price point, is hard to beat. I'm going to definitely try out their other products.

Nice for kids learning to write
I wanted to love these, for they are the perfect size and sharpen well in the pencil sharpener with no broken lead issues. But the metal holding the erasers eventually give up their hold and become a chocking hazard as they fall off. Even the plier squeeze trick doesn't help enough. The eraser could be a little softer to be perfect, but better than the other brand of big chunky pencils we've used. Some have such terrible erasers and these are much better than those. I like that they encourage a proper hold of the pencil without having to add a pencil grip. The lead is soft enough to make a nice dark impression on the page without being too thick of a line to feel like pre-school. I like them and happy to have purchased them, though I wish for the price they were a little better.

the best pencil ever.
I am 66 years old. Best drawing writing pencil I ever had. there is no triangle sharpener, so I used a pocketknife.

Excellent for a young rough child!
I have a 2.5 year old boy with autism that loves to draw. The problem we had was him being very hard on pencils(he prefers them over crayons). With a normal pencil he would constantly break the tip off and break the lead inside the pencil so it would just fall out once sharpened. These are obviously far more expensive then a normal pencil, but they are worth every penny for us. We've had these for a few weeks now and have only had to sharpen it(he's still on the first one!) maybe 3 or 4 times. The triangular grip is a nice bonus, he does seem to have a bit more control with it. But if you are looking for a good strong pencil, this is it!

Like a pre K pencil on steroids
I bought these for me to use while demonstrating art for directed drawings. My thought was I could erase when needed with these. Usually I just use sharpies and try to avoid making any line that needs erasing later. When doing some drawings it would be so much easier to just erase the tiny bit of a circle than to get kids to make part of a circle. However, these pencils write with a beautiful dark line that does not easily erase away. I wanted it dark so kids could see it but I also wanted it to erase well. Iโll stick to sharpies and add these to my personal art supplies for pencil sketching. **add later** These would be great for students who need help writing darker lines. The shape is awesome for new writers and the lines show up even with less pressure. They are costly though. Perhaps not so practical for a classroom setting where pencils are lost often.

Great learning pencil, and easy hold for adults with joint pain
We got these for our 5yo who was struggling with drawing and writing (was late to choose a hand). The triangular shape and soft lead makes these a great choice for learners! They are just really nice pencils and I frequently grab them to make quick notes. I have some arthritis in my hands and they're actually much easier for me to write with when I have joint pain also! Only issue is we needed to get a larger barrel pencil sharpener (obviously?) and even then they don't quite fit without some convincing and tend to leave some sharp burrs around the edges that need to be picked or scraped off. Overall, I think these are a great product.

Fantastic Pencils.
Great pack of pencils for little ones still developing their fine motor skills. The body is more like a soft triangle so very easy to grip. My son just started grade one and he loves these. I will definitely be picking up more when we run out. The only draw back in the donโt fit a generic circular pencil sharpener easily. It takes more focus to sharpen them is all

Great pencil for my 4 yo
Larger pencil, easy for my little to grip. Much better than standard pencils. Nice big eraser too. Hard to break, we love them. Will buy again.

Big Pencil for Little Fingers
We've been using these pencils for almost two years. I got them for my son when he was three to help him with pencil grip. The larger triangular shaped pencil is easier for him to grip while he's learning. It also has a darker lead which is nice until he is strong enough to push harder on a regular pencil to leave a dark enough line. The eraser is just average. All in all, it's a great pencil for kids learning to print.
