VivereMESH2-42 Hammock, Navy and Turquoise

This looks very sharp, friends have commented on how great it looks. I got the dark blue with dark green combo.I got the double-wide and for myself alone (I'm a thin guy), I still like the extra width. That allows me to lie length-wise or across it.It is very sturdy. It says it supports 400 pounds.When it got rained on, it quickly dried out, and I love that it is weather-proof.

A little smaller than i pictured...especially if its a double hammock. However it is nylon not cotton so I guess that's why it can be compacted down to the size of a cereal box. I'll update this as soon as the rain stops and I hang this up.....Stay tunedWell I hung it up and It's great! [NOTICE: YOU HAVE TO BUY TREE STRAPS] Although, I must tell you that the ropes that are connected to the Hammock are starting to fray so I suggest wrapping them in tape or some sort of sealant to stop the fraying. Other than that its great, when it rains it does get wet but it doesn't hold water it just seeps right through and it dries pretty quickly as well. Now when they say a "double" hammock I don't think they meant two people lying in it long ways trust me I've tried it and it's very uncomfortable. I would recommend lying in it short ways, that seems a little more comfortable.

I want to start out by saying that FedxSmartpost is the worst method for shipping. 11 days. That aside, this made in China hammock for only $37.00 dollars seems like a good deal. It is no ENO but it was half the price. If you are a serious camper, go with the Eagles Nest brand. If this is for casual use where others will be jumping in and out this will work just fine. And if something happens to it you won't feel so bad. Looks to be well made? How can you screw up manufacturing something with so little design involved. Two clips, two ropes and a sheet of nylon. All in all the Vivere is a good buy. UPDATE: 08/24/2014 The company claims this hammock will hold up to 400 pounds? It will not! My wife weighs 135 pounds and I weigh 195lbs. When we both sat in the hammock the para cord snapped sending our rear ends to the ground with a thud. "OUCH". Rated at 400 pounds and did not hold tight at 330lbs. Be care full!!

My favorite travel hammock for two, it folds up so nice and small! We take this on remote hikes. Definitely pack a good rain fly, just in case, and you should get the tree straps, too. We found ourselves slowly sliding down the tree. But it dries realy fast, and though we got rained on last time we used it, we woke up the most cozy, warm and breezy I've ever awoken. Didn't want to leave the hammock!

After hanging out in my friends hammock, I really wanted an ENO. But ENO is sooooo expensive. This double hammock is, in my opinion, just as good as the ENO double nest. I am going to replace the S hooks with carabiners, but other than that I have no complaints. The fabric is awesome. You can pull the extra fabric over you if you lay in the middle. Its everything I wanted in a hammock.

As good as Eno but much cheaper. Love how wide the double nester is. Kids love it. Only thing is I bought some carbeners due to not liking the security of the S hoods. I also bought longer straps, included paracord isn't long.

I was excited when I first got this, it seemed be everything I needed, but after just one use camping in the woods the black cordage that connects tot he hooks on the straps started to fray and looked like they would snap, I did not even sleep in this thing for one full night. Im going to be returning it.

I originally bought the stand which came with a good quality cloth hammock and I'm happy with that purchase but I wanted a net hammock because i found the cloth too warm. I saw this, made by the same company,and thought I'd give it a try. It was a mistake. Attachment is a cheap plastic carabiner, not a thick hoop like the original, and the hammock has thick strips of inflexible fabric running the length of the hammock which make it uncomfortable to lie on. Cheaply made and cheap price. A good example of you get what you pay for.

Great for the backyard , easy to take down and bring camping or on outdoor picnics. I took it down and washed it and put away for next year. Washed well and dried in no time.

I ordered the Parachute Hammock and Eco-Friendly tree straps a few weeks ago and was really pleased with the quick shipping and how easy it was to setup outside. The hammock folds up conveniently into the carrying pouch (built into the side of the material) and even when paired with the tree straps it's very light to toss in a backpack to bring hiking, camping, or to the park.Initially I imagined the tree straps would be difficult to use, but there was a helpful video on YouTube demonstrating how to set these up really quickly. The product definitely met my expectations and it's a purchase we'll see value from all summer. Would recommend!
