Is this sunscreen reef safe?

It does not have the 2 biggest pollutants, but does have one "lesser" pollutant, octocrylene. This sunscreen is on the list for one of the better sunscreens for the reef. Not the best but better than most.

What is the smell like? Is it coconutty? I hate coconut smell.

Is there an expiration date printed on the bottle?

The expiration date is imprinted on the cap near the hinge. Locate it by swiping a finger near the hinge to feel/locate it. It's a bit difficult to see/read.

Why are there still chemicals in it? Zinc oxide & titanium dioxide is all that's needed?

Those are the active ingredients in mineral based sunscreens.

Everyday/casual/outdoor use

It’s a Great sunscreen if you are going to be outdoors all day long or any reason, perfect for your scalp(if you are a bald guy), body and face. Perfect for the beach as well. It also gives a nice glow to the face. It smells fresh and 50spf is good enough. I just wish they made a travel size version of this.

Amazing

I broke out from regular sunscreen years ago and had been using baby sunscreen. I didn't like the residue it would leave, so I tried this out. No breakouts and it has a wonderful scent. It reminds me of coconut, but not overbearing. I'm not a floral/fruity scent type of person, but I like it. It goes on like lotion and doesn't feel greasy once it's on. I'm Black and was in Croatia for a week in August and I believe this worked perfectly
