This set completely measured up to expectations. I have a 12 piece dinnerware set that I was storing in a quilted plastic set before and I needed to change them because they were falling apart. The dinner plates were always so heavy and awkward to carry around but in this set they feel sturdy and a bit more manageable. They even have 2 handles on either side for easy transport. I absolutely love the feel and look of them. The only slight issue was that they had an awful smell right out of the box but I sprayed them with some downy wrinkle release spray and kept them open by a window for a couple of hours and smell is completely gone. I've even gone back and checked days after storing the plates in them and no smell at all! The pictures I'm adding are of the dinner plates only. The felt dividers do not cover the entire plate but they're packed in so well that I don't feel the plates moving around so I don't see it as a big deal. I know some other reviewers were not so happy about that.

My wife and I have ordered two full sets and one plate set. The full sets were absolutely perfect. The plate set...not so much. It appears to have some mold or some other spots on three of the four containers. The box is dry, so I'm not sure what it is ( I circled the spots in the photo that you can easily see. There is more that is lighter colored). I'm not going to deal with the hassle of returning, because it would require driving an hour away to send it back. I might try spraying them with Lysol (or something similar) and hope it scrubs off.

These are sturdy and large enough to fit an 11 inch plate. 12 plates fit great! Great price as well. Would highly recommend.

I have Christmas plates (dinner, salad and desert plates). I only use them during the christmas holidays so I like to store them the safely so the don't get chipped. These containers are perfect 👌

I have some excess china - some because I collected it, and some because I inherited it. So these looked like a great idea. And they are, but in using them, I learned a few very basic things that probably you already know, but were revelatory for me. First of all, make sure you know what you have. I thought I did; in fact I was sure I did - so I didn't even bother getting up from the computer (waaay too much trouble) to verify. So the set I thought should be cased up, can't be - because what I really needed was a case for cups, which I didn't order. Over confidence strikes again. Second, make sure you have a place to put the cased dishes. The cases take up a bit more room, but are still a stack of dishes, so they require care when handled. Can't just toss them in the garage or the attic if they no longer fit on the shelf. Third, measure your dishes. My vintage dishes didn't meet the measurements of salad plates or dessert places (fortunately, once again, I have other china to fill the gap...which underscores why I have no idea of what size anything is, because I'm just a pack rat). Measurements matter. So basic. Having made it through my mistake(s), and figured out where to place the filled cases, I have to say, they look stunning. The cases provided a really finished look to my shelves, and I feel so much more secure about the plates inside. Prior to this, I had the plates just stacked up on the shelf. Now, I have the plates inside a thinly quilted case, which are easily accessed with double zippers openings similar to quality travel luggage. And similar to luggage, each case has a spot where you can place a label identifying the dishes, and a handle, so you can easily pull the case out (making sure you carefully support the bottom - it isn't really luggage, in spite of that look). The included felted rounds help minimize scratches, and any slippage, in the stack of plates, which makes the whole stack seem more secure. If I could fit more of these on my shelves, I'd get more. I feel a lot better, with the china I rarely use stored more securely, and the shelves have quite a polished look.

I am so incredibly pleased with how surprisingly sturdy this set of china storage containers are. I know they would have to be very sturdy to store fragile and breakable plates, but these stackable holders far exceeded my expectations. These remind me of hat boxes, but way sturdier and heavier duty for sure. There are several round, kind of thick and cushiony types of dividers for the containers, great for putting in between one's plates to keep them safe. The zippers work great, run smooth, and don't feel like they are going to fall apart any time soon. There are handles on the side, which if these were completely full of heavy plates, I probably wouldn't use them just because I'd worry too much they would fail in some way, although there's nothing about the quality that indicates this to me, it's just a me thing. These are very good quality china storage containers and I'm very pleased with how very sturdy and hard shell these are as well as the zipper quality and included padded dinnerware dividers for added protection. These are really nice. They come with little felt dividers for between the plates, and they're a nice tight fit for my plates, which helps keep them from sliding around. Once the container is full, it's super easy to carry them around, and I even feel comfortable holding them by the strap for easy moving. I stacked three of these on top of one another in a tall cabinet (so a total of 36 plates stacked) and it's stable and safe, not to mention a huge space-saver. This will help keep them from getting dusty, which definitely can happen to plates that are not used for a long time. If you have china that you only use occasionally, this is a great option for keeping it compact and protected in between uses.

WOW!!! MUCH better than expected. Would buy it again.
