This came in handy when I made my granddaughter birthday cake. It was sturdy enough, I had no problems with it.

Very nice, I bought it for me but decided to give it to my daughter for one of her presents. I'll get another one for me.

Lightweight but usable cake stand. I'm new to baking and didn't want to invest all this money in a metal cake stand/spinner. So this for the bill. It spins easily without the cake so with the weight of the cake I'd say half as fast which is still pretty fast. Came with some supplies to decorate and experiment with and a couple of paddle knives as well. Keep expectations realistic. For the price point one can't expect commercial items or tools, but one doesn't need all that to make a nice cake for the table, for children or someone's birthday. I say go with it and wish you luck making something that will make someone's day or make them happy and heart warmed. 😊

This turntable is great for beginners. While it is not super sturdy it does help you ice cakes effectively. The spatulas are a great addition to my collection.

Very disappointed as this cake turntable was not a Kootek brand!!! Returning it right away!!!

If you have a budget more than that of this product, I would recommend not buying this product. I just started making cakes and thought it would be a budget-friendly instrument but it was just a waste of money. Over that, there was mud and dust in the entire packaging. 1) Plastic Turn Table: the thing is not sturdy whatsoever, its lightweight (without a cake on top) and has no grip so it will slip around if you are not extremely gentle. Over that its main function of turning itself is really janky, I think the ballbearing too are made of plastic. 2) The Knives: there are 3 types of cake smoother as shown in the picture. The entire body may be of 10-ish inches but the blades are just around 6 inches. Personally, that's not convenient enough. Something around 8+ would help you more. 3) Cake Scrapers: They were not of the same design as shown in the image on the website. They were green and made of plastic. So they had extra bits of thin plastic here and there, making the "designing part" pointless as they would make the sides rough and inconsistent.
