Buy Wzatco Projectors, offer much better value for money. NOT A DAY GOES BY WHEN I DO NOT REGRET PUTTING MY MONEY IN AN EGATE PRODUCT, DESPITE HAVING BAD EXPERIENCE, BECAUSE I THOUGHT A COSTLIER PRODUCT WILL BE BETTER, BUT ALL THEIR PRODUCT RANGES ARE MEDIOCRE WITH SUBSTANDARD PARTS. This is my second Egate Projector (I had Egate I9 Pro before this). I bought it at INR 22k after doing a lot of research and comparing many brands. My requirements are a projector that we can watch even during the day because we do not own a TV. Pros (The pros take a back seat after an year as the build quality is worst among all brands) 1. Easy Setup - There is nothing to setup to be honest as this is not an Android projector. The only thing to be setup was the Keystone correction, which is pretty easy with the remote 2. Brightness - It has good brightness of any projector but there are better options available in lower price ranges, they just have early mover advantage, qnd even then others have made better projectors 3. Picture Quality - It could have been better but it is JUST OK, quite comparable to the cheaper models like i9 pro Cons: 1. Bulky - It is big in size, i.e. not quite portable as it will not fit in your usual laptop bag 2. Interface - It's boring, they haven't upgraded much since I bought the i9 pro in 2017. Other brand projectors such as Wanbo have a better interface which looks more professional 3. Keystone Correction - The physical keystone correction has the same problems that it's predecessors like i9 had, the corners get blurred if you use physical correction 4. Sound - Could have been better. It's better than the cheaper eGate projectors but not enough to watch a movie in hall, it's only sufficient for a small room 5. USB Play - It did not play a lot of formats, even most 1080 MP4s and gave unsupported format error, which reminded me of the irritating same problem with the i9. I expected better from L9 To be honest, I expected more from a projector costing 22k. The worse part is it will always need a physical input because it is not Android and doesn't support Miracast/screen-share, not even a damn bluetooth so you need another output for sound; so hanging this from the ceiling is another pain. I bought i9 for INR5500 and it gave me 1080 picture, with the drawback that it needed complete darkness for good experience, however as a projector it did what it should for that amount; though it had a shoddy build quality and its polarization filter got burnt in an area within an year, and Egate customer care did not respond in time, by then my warranty had run out. I ordered a Wanbo X1 pro (INR12k) before this and it had better interface, with Miracast and Bluetooth so using it was a charm compared to this. So, buy this only if you have a requirement of using it in daytime, if you plan on watching few movies etc in a dark room, buy a cheaper one because that will do the job. After 11 months of use, it has started showing a dark spot on screen, which is visible in low light scenes. The same problem happened with their earlier projector Egate i9, but it was a much cheaper item and it happened after 2-3 years of use, and Egate was relatively a small company then, so it was somewhat acceptable. Also, due to mediocre build (as it is an Indian company with probably incompetent quity check), the projector is showing dust buildup on the right side of the screen, refer to the pics I uploaded. But given the giant it has become in the field of projectors, such performance is not acceptable at all. Moreover, they have a pathetic after sales support, with no one even responding to complaints. So, please avoid this and buy a Chinese made projector in same price range, they offer much better quality for this price.

I would consider the product OK. here are some details Pros: 1. got it for 5.5K (pretty cheap) 2. easy to set up - simple plug and play 3. good for videos where you do not need to have high resolution - Sports and Movies can be viewed with good satisfaction 4. can project on a far and wider area. i use it to project on the wall about 10ft away from the projector and it project about 8ft wide, 5 ft high (working at it's limit) bonus: got the package delivered in just a day. Thanks to Amazon and the seller! Cons: 1. the package did not come with a HDMI cable, no batteries for remote. - i thought it would be there by default 2. resolution is not good for gaming / browsing. could not read any text (low or regular font size) or finer details. just if the product description is not clear, the projector resolution is 800x480 (about 18% pixels as a FULL HD display) 3. brightness is low. you can only see the picture in a completely dark room (expected though for a sub 2000 lm rating) 4. my product has few dead pixels (2 clusters of about 5 & 10 dead pixels). Although it would not affect the experience for most people, it bothers me.. 5. Speaker is not usable. i just let my laptop's speaker ON instead of the the projector's speaker most of the cons were expected. i am giving it a 3 star because of the lack of accessories and dead pixels. you may end up having better experience. Bottom line: If you are looking to watch sports and movies/TV series on a large screen, usually only at night, then go for it. If you would like to play games and like more detailed picture and would like to use it during day time, i recommend that you go for a 1280x800 resolution projector with about 3000 lm brightness (would cost ~12-15K)

E Gate K9 Pro-Max 6X – Truly Amazing Remote Function: Very stable, no lag at all – 10/10. Picture Quality: In 10-watt tube light, I would rate it 8/10 the picture is still clearly visible even with the light on. With lights off the quality is just amazing would rate it 20 out of 10 Superb colors and clarity salute to EGate for this picture quality. Android Version: Comes with Android 9, but honestly it feels much faster and smoother than Android 13 – 10/10. Build Quality: Awesome, premium and royal look. Surprise Element: I didn’t know it also comes with an EGate mini soundbar Totally unexpected surprise thanks to EGate. The sound quality of the soundbar is also very good. Keystone: Works perfectly. Amazon mentioned zoom out up to 75%, but in reality it does 50%. This was another surprise for me. Cons: Honestly, nothing to complain about. In this budget, this projector has completely won my heart. I am 200% satisfied with this purchase. Just 3 days ago, I bought the Waztco You Go Pro projector – but its colors were very dull. Not worth it. Instead, spend a little extra and buy this one with your eyes closed. The moment you open your eyes, you’ll see amazing colors and crystal-clear quality! Thanks EGate and Amazon for this excellent product.

Wonderful projector for the price nice picture can be expanded to encompass a large area the internal speaker is pretty good I have no complaints

Clearly received a defective product and used the box came opened and once i turned on auto focus never functioned properly always had blurry image no matter what i did. Do not buy

Supposed to be new out of the box. Definitely wasn't. Auto focus was damaged and made a loud clicking noise. Very upset kid!
