reliable with a little bit of care
if u haven’t watched the video, this lighter is solid. i’ve had very minor issues with it but it does require a bit of setting upfirstly, i’d recommend changing the cotton and wick. the wick is low quality and will burn away quickly. zippo makes great wicks.the wick and cotton are both shoved into it very disorganized. reorganizing it and making sure the wick reaches from top to bottom will help with fuel flow.now for the only genuine issue i’ve had with the product. the cam spring that is attached to the flicker that rotates the flint wheel can lose its strength. mine stopped striking after a month or so of the initial buy but having taken the spring out and bent it back, i haven’t had any issues since.in conclusion, as with any trench lighter, change the cotton and wickfor this lighter in particular, the cam spring may loosen on u and u will have to take it apart to bend it

Good, not great.
Nice lighter and decent quality. But not worth $30+ ... Would feel better if I paid around $15. I've collected lighters, new and old, for over 20 yrs. Had I held it first, I would not have bought it.

So far, reliable! Only one Flaw.
Similar but less awkward to use than a Zippo. Fluid cheaper and less likely to burn your fingers than butane. The windguard is effective.—Additional—after a few months, the only problem is the flint wheel which gets clogged easily and is tricky to clean. I used a sharp metal tool like a dentist on every groove, but a wire brush would be much easier. Also, I found it didn't hold fuel long BUT that was because a tiny piece of cotton was in the screw-groove. Now it doesn't evaporate so check your seals.

Beautiful Lighter
This is a wonderful little cigarette lighter (it could probably be used for pipes too) that lights without effort every time I push down on the striker button. Better than a Zippo in that it has a screw/gasket closure for its lighter fluid reservoir, Zippos, which just slide into their case after filling, dry out much faster. It also has an adjustable, up/down, wind screen. The parts making up the lighter seem decent - as far as my inexpert eye can tell - and I can't discern any obvious vulnerability or weak spot - but the lighter comes in a fancy wooden box and little canvas bag. When I see superfluous fancy packaging like that; it leaves me wondering if the additional expense for the packaging couldn't have been invested into even more superior parts and materials for what seems a beautiful lighter. A turd wrapped in a fancy box is still a turd, not to say this is a turd - and so far it seems anything but.
