Bottle is small, but it is more than enough product. Leaves scalp clean and feeling minty fresh. Rinsing out is not necessary and I was pleased that there is no residue. Instead of applying directly to my scalp between braids, I found squeezing a small amount into my fingers and then applying it to my scalp targeted the area better and wasted less product. This product is good in that you don’t have to rinse it out so it doesn’t make your protective style frizzy.

My scalp is super sensitive. Nothing replaces soap and water, so I was not buying this notion of a dry shampoo. After two weeks of braids, my scalp was on fire. This shampoo arrived at the right time! I applied to my scalp and followed up with a damp towel to remove the product and debris. The itching stopped immediately and lasted for a week. Now I clean every week. I highly recommend this product, I just ordered my second bottle.

Buy it!! I haven't left a review in a long time but I was too impressed with this product! I would consider it a holy grail product for protective styles!! It does a great job of cleansing your scalp and eliminating "dirty hair smell" without leaving residue or drying your hair out. If you're a lazy natural or you tend to postpone your wash days due to a busy schedule, this product is your savior!

I used this to cleanse my scalp while I had Senegalese twists installed. I just applied it to scalp in sections, massaged it in to loosen the dirt and oils, then wiped clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry. My scalp was clean and it did not dry my skin or hair. Left a refreshing tingle, also.
