Renogy400W

After looking for a good Solar Kit and reading reviews I made my decision on renogy. Didn't wanted to go over board but enough to make sure it would work for my needs. Running a 4.7cf fridge all day and over night then being able to recharged my Battery full charge to continue the cycled plus some TV watching a Movie or two on rainy days if it happens ,led lights, water pump. Just need to get equipped with a Lithium Battery now and will be all set and no worry's to go off grid. P.S. and was still just able to accomplish what I just described with a 2500 Watt pure sine wave Inverter and just one 12 Volt AGM Battery witch is not even a 100ah by the fridge off for two maybe 3 hours over night with everything still frozen in freezer and cold in the fridge in the morning to be turn back on by the 400 Watt solar panels and mppt charge controller recharging the battery. Happy with my purchase good quality well packaged fast delivery. Damaged package usually done by delivery service ,not the seller, review accordingly.

Bang for buck, this is the best solar kit out there right now. The panels perform even better than spec which is amazing. I DID have my charge controller fail on me about 2 months in. I don't know why, maybe it was user error and I shorted it out, maybe it was a defunct unit. But for some reason, although it still "functioned" it was only sending max 3-5 amps to the batteries (even though the panels might be putting 16-20 amps out!) So I contacted Renogy Canada support - No response. As mentioned by other reviews you should contact USA support. I did so and heard back inside a couple of days, requesting more photos and that I verify with a few tests to make sure it wasn't a settings issue After that, they fedexed me a replacement unit, and they covered 100% of the cost So while the process was a little annoying, I stand by renogy because they stand by their products.

El sistema ya lleva funcionando algunos meses y trabaja bien, yo lo tengo con un inverter para usarlo con 120v y todo bien, aún que seria genial si pudieran incluir una batería y uno de sus inverter en el mismo kit para no tener que comprarlos a parte

Excellent quality panels and genuine MPPT controller, but the wires on the back of the panels are way too short. 3 sets of parallel connectors are provided to parallel the panels, but because of short wires, you can only use 2 of the parallel connectors and then they won't reach to plug in the 3rd. The provided wiring is also too short.. Had to buy extension cables to complete install..

We haven’t installed it yet as it’s for the cottage! But we are excited to try it out! It will make life much easier. It came very well package and as described.
