Listening to this material with new (old) ears
My mom had this record when we were growing up. I just couldn't understand what she heard in it for decades. I was never much of an acoustic or folk fan anyway. But the last few years, after seeing a local acoustic performer who I like quite a bit, I started to rather like some of these Cat Stevens songs because the local performer plays several of them. I ended up buying this and listening to it with fresh ears (I'm in my 60s). I now have a much greater appreciation for this and I understand now why mom liked it. Because of this CD & the local acoustic performer, I ended up buying one other Cat Stevens disc, a Harry Chapin disc and a disc by Hall & Oates.

Timeless
Love Cat Stevens. This was the first ALBUM I every owned and it is long lost. The CD is great. Wonderful memories.

Great Classic Album
Cat Stevens at the top of his game. But I should have read the description closer because this is remastered, NOT re-recorded.I thought they did a great job of re-recording Tea For The Tillerman and thought this LP was following suit. The album is definitely worth owning in one version or another. However, I don’t think the quality of this recording is better than the original pressing. It is still one of the all time classic albums and highly recommended.

Brilliant Remaster
I have the original pressing of this, my favorite Cat Stevens album. This remaster is better in every respect. Vinyl in the 1970's was of variable quality. This is on the quietest of vinyl with a presence of sound that is wonderful. If you want the best version of this great album, this is the one to get.

Good but not the sonic improvement I was hoping for.
Nice heavy 180 gram vinyl disc. Sonically? No noticeable “Wow” factor. Original pressing sounds as good. Remastered sound shows little audible improvement. I have audiophile caliber gear. If you have an older pressing in good shape, you can likely do without this.

Fantastic Album
The version I bought of this album was just the remastered album, no special features. My parents had this on vinyl along with Teaser and the Firecat so for nostalgia purposes I needed to have both on CD...
