These pond water test strips work great. They’re quick, accurate, clear and the guide on the side of the tub makes it super easy to check whether everything’s within the right levels of tolerance. Good tests and easy to use but would be nice to have ammonia test included

Really easy to use and easy to read. It appears very accurate and results are speedy giving the water quality. The amount of testing strips is good for the price.

A must have for any size aquarium! Ideal and easy to use with easily understandable instructions. These mean I get an accurate reading quickly, giving my fish the best health possible.

Good value

Brought as an alternative to API brand and I wasn't disappointed. The amount if test strips that come was more than enough to help me start my new fish tank and then to keep on top of the PH levels when it came to a clean. The instructions are very easy to understand and I would say that they produce consistent reliable results. Essex water is known for being hard so I was very happy with the results and being able to read and see that my tropical tanks levels were achieving the right parameters was great.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the pH reading. It's just not detailed enough, it's got no fidelity. The difference between low pH and high pH is suck a subtle shade that it makes any reasonable reading impossible. It's not obvious on the picture, but the test strip is a different tone making it really hard to see what the pH is. On my other test strips that I use I can see my pH is 7.5 quite easily. On my other strips though the Total Hardness is a different tone so you've got to pick your potato. Also on this strip 1 ppm of Nitrite is considered fine while my other strips says 1ppm of Nitrite is high enough to need a water change, same when you google it. So, if you have fish in your aquarium which you probably do I would get some other test strips or be aware that 1 ppm of Nitrite means you have to do a water change and probably a 50% change. I don't know if you've had any luck with additives that bring down the Nitrites but I haven't. I just have to do a water change.

So simple to use, it will save me $5 each time I go to the fish shop.. and at least I can now see what my chemical levels are

Works as intended

These aquarium test strips are incredibly easy to use and genuinely useful for monitoring my tank's water condition. The generous quantity of strips means they'll last me quite a while. A must-have for any aquarium owner!
