Great, High Quality Tank Pad
I have a 2017 Yamaha FZ09 and I had a tricky time finding a tank pad that would fit the unique shape of my tank. This one fit the bill and it has been great.Pros:- Good adhesion- High quality appearance and feelCons:- None so far, perhaps a little tricky to apply but that is true with any "stick-on" accessory.

No problems, relatively easy install, stays put
Installed this on my 2013 Kawasaki Z1000. Prepped the surface by wiping with rubbing alcohol first, and applied it at around noon under direct Arizona sunlight, which probably helped make the "hard resin" tank pad a lot more pliable and easier to manipulate. While the adhesive does allow you to pull it up and reposition it over and over again as needed - yeah, I'm a little bit OCD and wanted it to sit RIIIIIIIIGHT in the center, so lining it up just right took a few tries - it also still manages to hold VERY securely and doesn't accidentally peel off (so far). Takes a pretty deliberate effort to try to pull it off.Not crazy about the "grippy" feel of it, though. I bought this to PROTECT the top of my tank from zipper scratches from my jacket, and I can't see how it would be necessary (or even possible) for the sticky, tacky feel of this pad's surface to be in any way useful - that's a job for the rubber tank pads on the SIDES of the tank, after all. But if that's a "must" feature for someone out there ... well, there you go. It's "grippy" as advertised. But at least it doesn't get in the way or anything for me, so ... total non-issue. Overall, it's a pretty good deal for the money.

The writing is in white like another reviewer said
I used it upside down to make the wider part closer to wear my jacket zipper hits the tank. The writing is in white like another reviewer said. The curves of the tank on the 2017 ninja doesn't really work for the shape of this so I'm glad I was planning to use it upside down anyways. The photos show how glossy it is against my matte tank, very shiny but the "carbon fiber" pattern does look real and not cheap pokedots the lower prices tank pads look. I had to lightly stick it on and peel it off a couple times to get it as centered as possible, I didn't do any measuring or taping before hand bc I just don't care that much about making it perfectly centered but we did use a degreaser to make the tank surface clean before hand. My package came with no instructions.

Great Product
Product looks and feels quality. Go ahead and spend a little more and purchase this instead of the cheap ones. I cleaned my tank well and applied it without issue. Now I won’t have to worry about scratching my tank!

Does the job
Fits well on my CBR650R. No issues with adhesion and still sticking well after a little over a month.

Pristine condition up until I sold the bike
Had this grip for my bike since 2020. Just sold the bike last week and the grip was still intact. Prior grip that I had (some cheaper brand) came off after about a months use. I will be buying this again for my new bike.

Great product for great price.
A little smaller than the description but still perfect for what I needed. The shipping was pretty fast, arriving in 3 days. I waited a few days to put it on because I wanted to make sure I could take my time.It went on easily and stuck extremely well, I've been exposed to rain and sun since putting it on and still looks like new. Adhesive is holding great and the subtle carbon fiber looks great on my black tank compared to most of the more extravagant ones.Update 2 years later- still looks good and holding on strong with no signs of wearing out soon.
