Why the bottle that says sunfiber is more expensive than this? its not the same?

I wonder the same thing, but I have thoroughly examined both labels, and they both appear to be Sunfiber. So I buy this one, because why pay more?

What happens if you put this in a hot beverage? Does it gel or does it dissolve?

It dissolves easily in hot water.

"sunfiber" is 100% sunfiber guar fiber, but has 15 calories/6g fiber per 7g. this product has 30 calories/6g fiber per 7.5g. why the calorie diff?

I believe this is due to FDA allowing several different methods for total calorie content determination. "(B) Using the general factors of 4, 4, and 9 calories per gram for protein, total carbohydrate, and total fat, respectively, as described in USDA Handbook No. 74 (slightly revised, 1973) pp. 9-11;" 30 = 7g total total carb* 4 cal/g (this comes out to 28, but 30 is like because there is a decimal amount in the true g total carb that comes into the calculation say- 7.4 g*4 cal/g = 29.6 calories) "(C) Using the general factors of 4, 4, and 9 calories per gram for protein, total carbohydrate (less the amount of non-digestible carbohydrates and sugar alcohols), and total fat, respectively, as described in USDA Handbook No. 74 (slightly revised, 1973) pp. 9-11. A general factor of 2 calories per gram for soluble non-digestible carbohydrates shall be used." 14 cal = 6g fiber * 2 cal/g + 0.5g non-fiber carb * 4 cal/g

Yes, it works a little too well, if your diet contains little amount of fiber, I suggest using half a scoop. You might want to consider this advice as I’m writing this while seated on my throne.

Effective and tastless

I add a scoop of this to a 1 L bottle of water and taste nothing at all. It took a day or 2 for my gut to adjust to the fibre, after that it no issues as all.

Taking 2 full scope a day and there is no effect. No effect on gut health. I had better experience using green barley powder.
